Paris St-Germain have joined Real Madrid in the race to sign Liverpool's 26-year-old England right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Liverpool, meanwhile, have enquired about the availability of RB Salzburg's 22-year-old Bosnia and Herzegovina right-back Amar Dedic, as a potential replacement for Alexander-Arnold.

If they were actually useful they'd be talking about the replacement we need to find for Robertson.
He's been used and abused by Madueke and Saka the last two matches.

He seems to be quite good with an improving scoring record.
It's my prerogative that we should be buying an attacker every summer trying to find the new superstar, even if all players are 'on song.' But we have no idea if that will be the case next season which gives us more reason to buy.

Jota is great, but can't trust his fitness.
Salah is old and could drop off significantly next year. And could simply leave.
Nunez is a chaos agent, but doesn't seem to fit the Slot system.
Diaz could have his head turned by Spain.
Gakpo just can't find his Netherlands form here.

There's also Chiesa and the kids. Overall, I am very happy with the options we have this season.

But for the reasons you outlined ....... yes, we should definitely be seriously looking at an addition. More if we have serious doubts about Salah/Diaz contracts.

A versatile RW/striker would seem optimal.

Liverpool continue to scour the continent for a Mohammed Salah replacement and have landed on 17 year old Sporting winger Geovany Quenda.

Liverpool are set to offer €81 million to sign Real Madrid's Arda Guler.

Viktor Gyokeres has emerged as one of the strongest options for the Reds with his goalscoring form for Sporting Lisbon in Portugal over the last couple of seasons.

The Reds are working on creating a shortlist of players they could target next summer to improve the squad and Florian Wirtz is one of the players the club are tracking.

Liverpool are serious in their pursuit of a strategic move for Nottingham Forest defender, Murillo.

Italian outlet, Corriere Torino, stated that the Liverpool ‘really like’ Juventus starlet, Kenan Yildiz, and they wanted to hire him – who was valued at around £33.4m[€40m] at the time.

Liverpool will move for Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong if Trent Alexander Arnold does leave for Real Madrid in January.

Sources have now informed TBR Football that Liverpool are closely monitoring Rayan Ait-Nouri of Wolves and Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez.

Tijjani Reijnders is attracting plenty of interest from the Premier League with his performances for AC Milan, with both Liverpool and Tottenham expected to bid for the midfielder.

Bryan Mbeumo was linked with a move to Liverpool in the summer after scoring nine Premier League goals last season, but a transfer never came to fruition. Now the Merseyside club are set to move as they seek a long-term successor to Mohamed Salah.

Liverpool are set to undergo changes in the backroom after they announced the departure of Director of Scouting and Recruitment, Dave Fallows who is leaving after 12 years of service at Anfield. Understandably, the Reds need to find a replacement and it looks set to secure ex-Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund scout, Markus Pilawa, who is currently a free agent, as per Anfield Watch.

Probably what they usually do ie sell a bunch of underachievers and buy some replacements who the new coach thinks will take Utd to the promised land .

This might be more interesting now with all the scrutiny on profit and sustainability.

He’ll be fighting history. Most of those are now part of Old Trafford folklore because of one or two barnstorming performances against Liverpool.

There's suddenly chatter about Tchouaméni, likely because of the lower playing time he's been getting. I find that an odd one, but I wouldn't mind him. Or Zubimendi.

I’d take a one for one exchange with Trent.

too many bad optics to losing trent - Also I am a big fan of Bradley - but he isn't ready to be the day-to-day RB just yet.

You don’t measure on one game etc., but he probably had a worse game last night than Robbo on Sunday against the Arse.

Sweden forward Viktor Gyokeres, 26, and Danish midfielder Morten Hjulmand, 25, are unhappy with Amorim's decision to leave Sporting after rejecting offers to leave the club themselves in the summer.

Gyokeres is likely to join Amorim at Manchester United if a deal can be agreed

Real Madrid are considering moving on 24-year-old France midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni.

Real Madrid are willing to either pay £84m for Enzo Fernandez or offer Chelsea Tchouameni as part of a deal to sign the 23-year-old Argentina midfielder.
