try displaying "more options" and then preview the post. What is weird is that often trying to "insert" the image as a file won't work, but will if you copy/paste it does. I think there is probably some limited amount of data that you are assigned for uploaded files as a user on the server, and once you've passed this storage limit it just won't upload files anymore. If you just copy/paste images, though, this seems to get around it. For sure to know what you'll see if you post though, use the preview function. This is from a lot of frustrating effort trying to post images/videos myself...
thanks hubba - I did just copy the image and tried to paste it. not sure I know how to "insert" it. and tbh I never noticed that "More Options" was there
Really, the solution here for us is to give both big two year extensions and sell both after one to Saudi - who will still pay big bucks - realistically, another year with both on our roster would be great
You assume they actually want a contract extension at Liverpool. Or are they looking at a massive signing on bonus as they edge closer to the end of their careers?
Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo, 24, is attracting interest from Liverpool, Newcastle United and Tottenham after the Ghana attacker's impressive start to the season.
Real Madrid are stepping up their interest in Alexander-Arnold but Liverpool are hopeful they can convince the 26-year-old to stay. Liverpool have identified Eintracht Frankfurt's Egypt forward Omar Marmoush, 25, and Borussia Dortmund's Germany attacker Karim Adeyemi, 22, as potential replacements for Egypt winger Mohamed Salah, 32.
Real Madrid are planning a high-profile move to secure Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold and could be prepared to test the Reds by including star midfielder as part of the deal.. Los Blancos are considering including midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni as part of a player-plus-cash deal, according to Fichajes.
but that would only work in January (right?) -- if Trent doesn't sign a new deal he can move there and RM wouldn't have to give us a thing.
Liverpool have identified Bayer Leverkusen's Dutch 23-year-old Jeremie Frimpong, Monaco's Brazilian 23-year-old Vanderson and Fiorentina's Italian 20-year-old Michael Kayode as potential targets should they lose right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold. However, Liverpool are making some progress in their contract negotiations with England international Alexander-Arnold, 26. (Football Insider)
Liverpool are desperate to agree a new contract with Netherlands centre-back Virgil van Dijk amid growing speculation over the 33-year-old's long-term future. (Football Insider)
The Reds are continuing to assess transfer targets to bolster Arne Slot's central defence, having made the position a priority for next summer, with Sevilla's French 24-year-old Loic Bade and Sporting's Portugal international Goncalo Inacio, 23, among the candidates.
One thing that is really weird about the 3 contract negotiations is how quiet it seemingly is. Maybe I'm missing it being on this side of the Atlantic but I haven't seen any real attempts to plant stories in the media or to negotiate in public. For such high profile deals this late in the contract it all feels very grown up. But I can't decide if that's a good thing or not? Does it mean that the players want to stay and that all sides believe that a deal will eventually be reached and it's just a matter of time? Or does it mean all three are off but it's not convenient yet for either side to make that public?
it's a totally bizarre situation - unprecedented I'd say - for a major team to have 3 of its biggest players all in limbo at the same time. LFC will look like incompetent fools if we lose all 3 for zero in return. my own 2 cents (OK 1 cent) ... Mo - a week or so back made a statement about how much he wants to renew - seemed pretty sincere to me Virgil - similar statements recently - club would be out of their minds not to re-sign him Trent - most of the buzz seems to be that he's decided to leave - RM rumours are getting more frequent (but, echo chamber and all that) - he and Jude Bellend seem to spend all their off-time together - of the three, I'd say his renewal is not looking good at all imo
I’d be surprised if our Dutch captain didn’t agree to an extension after the start we have had under our Dutch manager.
Use the "Snip" tool on your PC/Mac ... (not sure if there is a variant of that on phones)- cut the image as a snip file and paste it directly. It sometimes pastes as a very tiny image in the live post but resizes back once someone clicks on it.....
Much as I love Salah - I'd prefer the other two to re-sign if all three don;t Virg is as fit as he's ever been and Trent is WC ....... and as I keep stating, no-one who was on that football field should be going anywhere near real Madrid
Unfortunately this is how I see it too. I suspect Salah and Virg just don't have many options and with Liverpool looking like we will be competitive going forward it makes sense to stay where they are. Trent seems to have the RM option BUT if he leaves for zero money with Liverpool in and around the top of the prem he should and probably will lose the fans. I know we don't do buyout clauses but maybe an exception this time. Offer him a contract with a buyout, only for RM, at a decent amount. Force Real Madrid's hand, sell him on the idea that if they really want you they can pay the transfer. If Trent's people turn that down then it can be leaked to friendly journalists to insure the fan base is on the club's side. I love Trent but if he leaves on a free with us competing for titles he's dead to me. Last thing on Salah, there have been a few rumors about him joining MLS, and it does seem that's a preferred landing spot over the Gulf. But I suspect (and hope) that's just the backup plan.
