I like Ibrahim Ba, too. He's nicknamed Ibu or something. Where is he right now?

My best pick in the last World Cup is Papa Bouba Diop. Sounded so cool to me when JP Dellacamera called his name after the sensational goal.

    African names are my favorites!

There was this old English player missing his 2 front teeth named Nobby Styles. Doesn't get much better than that.

    Damien Duff gets honorable mention.

I really like Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (Chelsea's dutch top-scorer).

But the best name must be Terror Lekota, a south african cabinet member, who got the nickname Terror as a footballer in his youth. And it stuck. He is almost never called by his christian name in the media.
