Freddy's all about confidence, if he gets another early he may very well get a brace.

Cristian Nasuti, our Argentinian center back, gave an interview today and was asked to evaluate your boys. Here's his answer.

I am amazed from the first time that they trained with us by their appetite for work and their willingness to help the team. I believe their hard work in training is reflected by their performances on the pitch. We're talking about two international players with NT experiance so both transfers were extremely important. They added depth in our midfield and attack which was something that we needed.

Why are they wearing long sleeves? It's not that cold in Greece.

Yeah, but Freddy should be used to being in the deep freeze. :)

Under 50 degrees fahrenheit at game time. Certainly not too warm for long sleeves.

Also it was probably raining so he could keep the water off of gum.

I know it may not be flashy, but my nomination for the next Adu thread title:

    Thanks for the upload, nick!

Is it just me or does Freddy's passing and decision making need work? I'm rooting for the kid and glad hes scoring, but I see a lot of holes in his game.:(

Did you see his game against Ergotelis? His decision making was sharp and precise, the best and most complete game he's played since his U20's breakout.

I suggest watching more than one game and not being so overly critical of every little pass he makes.

He was solid this last game and was a little off but still effective, what more do you want?

Sure there can be improvement, and playing, with a coach and team that believes in you, will only improve those aspects of his game.

From what I have seen he already hustles more than I can ever remember.
After basically being laid off for two years the other aspects of his game will come. It's only been a couple of matches so chillax.

When is 25 and nothing else has improved or matuyred about his game than worry about it.

Let's watch the kid play for once.

thanks, he looks popular with his teammates

Depends on what you're looking for...yeah, a lot of his passes in that video end up with the wrong team. But keep in mind, if a game ends 2-1, EVERY possession in that game except for 3 end in failure...end looking like a lot of those Adu passes to the wrong team.

When Freddy's passes are ending up with the opponents, as long as it is happening in the other team's final third it is all good. He should be taking chances, trying passes that aren't likely to work (the 3rd goal was just one such pass) but maybe if everything works out it will work. Or you can try the safe pass every time...but that may not help you score so much.

Looks like the slow field helped in him getting his pocket picked a lot more than in previous games...other than losing direct challenges, I really only saw one bad giveaway.
