This didn't need to be a thread but didn't fit elsewhere, and I'm too lazy to necropost right now...

    In recent email survey:
    Very unfavorable
    Never heard of them.

(Mind you, I detest better than 95% of all beer I've tried, so what else do I say here? They boxed me in by multiple choice questions that don't apply to me? Also, thanks @kgilbert78. for the tip about Lambic's #muchrep)

BTW, it's about to get old school up in the USMNT thread, isn't it? Let's all go back and watch the show. <insert popcorn .gif> If you think of anything that doesn't fit anywhere else just dump it in here...

    Mods, please sticky. ;)

    I love getting those surveys.

Told them I had never heard of Mapfre.

The sad thing is most of the marketing types have no clue just how bad the data really is that they get back from these types of endeavours ...

A really interesting study would be to pin down the percentage of respondents who take the time to respond to unsolicited marketing/customer satisfaction surveys that are sarcastic smartasses who intentionally give them faux answers. But then said smartasses would probably try to skew that study, as well. :)

Yeah.... I'm actually in school now to get a degree in marketing. The research side is more interesting to me, so I fill these out 'the right way' though I agree they seem more or less useless.

I actually think the casual fans that get these surveys probably answer them 'the right way' though the percentage that actually does is probably low. I'd throw out any survey that someone answers they never heard of Bud honestly. How can you not have heard of it? It's unfathomable.

I've only taken the time to finish a survey once, and I wrote at the end how great it was to see Frankie at a tailgate drinking with fans when he was on a red card. I suspect they got similar feedback from many of us, and used it to make a pretty good decision. So that was nice.

I did fill it out the right way based on their terrible choices. And I'm glad we agree that Budweiser is unfathomable.

I don't mean any personal offense at you, but I ********ing hate the whole idea of marketing. Subverting free will and all that... Just the idea of being manipulated irks me - especially when I know it's happening anyway!
