I thought the same thing after Bradley's goal, and then Donovan's goal obviously. And to think, they made this commercial BEFORE Bradley's and then Donovan's goal. They were right on the money.

 

Whoever made that commercial just got a big fat bonus check when Donovan hit the back of the net against Algeria - I'll tell ya that!

 

It would be good marketing to take advantage of that and add the Donovan goal to the end of the ad for subsequent spots in the tournament.

 

To say the least, it was a prophecy.

 

I hope so. It shows us scoring against Mexico (you can see flags in the background)... that can't happen until the final.

right after the match they played this commercial and it was just perfect

 

I was talking to my mom today and she was in her fitness center exercising when Landon made the goal. She was with the other 60 something women in a corner of the midwest where soccer is something kids play until they grow up and decide a sport.

She said the place went nuts.
