1) Send ice bags and tylenol to Tyler Twellman. 2) Memorize the words to "You'll Never Walk Alone," the song sung by Liverpool supporters. This will make Stevie Nicks feel at "home." 3) Buy tickets for The Fort (The Kop). 4) Buy grilling foods for Sunday tailgate. Liquor store before Saturday night. 5) Find the Galaxy hotel so I can practice serenading on Saturday night. 6) Buy thank you cards for Adin Brown, Jay Heaps, Joey Franchino, Carlos Llamosa, Leo Cullen and the rest of the stonewalling REV defense. Send them a 90 minute stop watch to remind that that defense needs to be played the entire 90 minutes. 7) Where in the world is Diego Serrna? Will he be ready for Sunday? Never mind. 8) Go to the Rev's Pro Shop to load up on Rev merchandise. What else am I missing here.....?
One more thing to do... Invite all the Revs to tomorrow's Pats game so they can get introduced to the fans before the game starts. Oh yeah, big daddy Kraft is taking care of them. Should be interesting to see the crowd reaction. Everyone loves a winner, my guess is they get a standing O. PS Its "Taylor" and he's taking Alleve.
Probably YOU. Since your MAPLE team has a match at 1 o'clock that day in Northboro, you're either going to be [a] a no-show for your scheduled match, forfeiting it or [c] standing pitchside with your team. You know I'm writing this with tongue firmly planted in cheek, you know what needs to happen. Hopefully, Emperor Paul Irwin will make our lives a little bit easier.
If you find a way to do this then please have them change my seats in 118 to the Fort as well. We were told tonight that 143, and that whole endzone was sold out. Section 118 was the best available for $25. BUT the ticket now reads "MLS Cup 2002: New England Revolution vs. Los Angeles Galaxy" I keep staring at it thinking it is a counterfeit
speakin of Revs merchandise, they are now selling Revolution 2002 Eastern Conference Champions t-shirts.
Re: One more thing to do... It is not! Channel 5 says that his name is Tyler. And, they have very accurate reporting. Just like when they interviewed Jurgen Sommer when he came off the pitch after playing last weekend.
Re: One more thing to do... PPS, that's "Aleve". 9) Go to church like I've always promised God I'd do if the Revs ever made it to the Cup. Put a couple bucks in the coffer and light a candle or something. Learn CPR to use on the minister (priest, rabbi, etc) when he sees me in church.
