I was down at the ticket office yesterday and as an afterthought asked for a list of things not allowed in the stadium:

beer, containers, noisemakers, air horns, seats, strollers etc And bags bigger than the size of this piece of paper are not allowed (paper is A4 size).

This isn't a full list (it's just from memory), but rather interestingly the guy behind the ticket counter said that "...it might be different for the game since the list I gave you is for Pats games....". More interestingly is one of the last lines on the printed sheet of paper is something along the lines that the management reserves all rights to disallow whatever they think is unfit.

It's really a case of you're better off not bringing anything in -leave it behind if you're in doubt.

LIST OF PROHIBITED ITEMS AT GILLETTE STADIUM:
    (from revs website)

    • Bags of any kind, excluding small hand held purses, and plastic carrier bags carrying purchases made at the proshop, contents of these bags will be inspected.
All cameras with detachable lenses. All video cameras are also prohibited. Cameras that do not have detachable lenses are allowed, however, they will be checked.
Electrical items such as small transistor radios, small TV monitors, audio recording equipment, cell phones etc will be allowed through the gates, however, you will be required to turn on the equipment to ensure it is what it appears to be.
Seat cushions will be allowed into the stadium after they have been thoroughly checked by security.
Binoculars will be allowed into the stadium, the binoculars will be checked first to ensure they are what they appear to be; any binocular case will be checked.
Flags will be allowed access into the stadium, however, flag poles over 2 feet in length will not be.

[**personal note, i have seen plenty of baby bags larger than the 8 1/2 x 11 get in by being thouroughly searched...but when have these guys shown much consistency during the year on these rules, or the accepted breaking of them**]

The list of prohibited items that has been in force throughout last season and will remain for this season is:
    • Any alcoholic beverages
Weapons of any kind [including knives]
      Food or beverages
      Illegal drugs
Coolers or containers, including cans and bottles
      Umbrellas
      Fireworks or pyrotechnics
Animals, except service animals assisting those with disabilities
      Strollers or baby seats
      Folding, stand alone, chairs
Noise makers (DRUMS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE STADIUM!!)
      Bullhorns, air horns
      Helium balloons
      Beach balls
Any other item deemed inappropriate by stadium management

No prohibited items will be accepted at the stadium for safekeeping. While this may be an inconvenience we are sure you understand the reasoning behind the policy – please leave all such items secured in your vehicle

Gillette Stadium and all agencies that work to provide all visitors with a safe environment ask that you cooperate fully with staff and arrive at the gates in ample time prior to the game.

IF YOUR BAG IS LARGER THAN AN 8.5" X 11" SHEET OF PAPER PLEASE LEAVE IT IN YOUR VEHICLE

    Please enjoy the game

do forget the whistles, if you could...

If it wasn't clear from Rev-eler's post, WHISTLES are not allowed in the stadium. Yes, this is a case where they've been inconsistent at best, but they did make an issue out of whistles as recently as two games ago.

Just bring your car key, your ticket, your ID and your ATM card ...just leave everything else in the car!
