I haven't seen it, but I've been told he can. Probably only in the open floor or on an alley-oop, I'd guess. (EDIt, seeing the video, he can obviously dunk when open.)

Jeremy Lin = yet another fail by the Golden State Warriors.

In fact, at the moment it looks like the worst fail since they drafted Todd Fuller over Kobe Bryant in the 96 Draft.

Yea, but the Rockets are still doing alright this year, and the Warriors had him for a full season last year and never got anything out of him.

Dantoni system makes average players look good, remember boris diaw, and other that had great stats until they left phoneix... NY is just like phoneix was they will put big numbers win some games but in the playoffs when the game slows down they will suck

most asian americans have the height for soccer. but a combo of parents not letting their kids play sports and coaches not wanting asians because of stereotypes/prejudice/racism means that there are asian kids being overlooked.

    North America is a continent
    South America is a continent

Together they form "The Americas" a land mass.

    Americans refers to US Citizens

    Yankees refers to north-eastern americans.

Come to think of it, bringing us right back to soccer, Jeremy Lin provides another example of many Americans' limited definition of athleticism.

Last night, I read one blogger noting that Lin has "the quickest first step" he'd ever seen in the NBA, and suggesting that Lin and perhaps many other players like him have been overlooked in part because lateral acceleration is something that coaches don't really look for. Hyperbole or not, I think he had a point: all the (gridiron) football and basketball scouting reports out there focus on 40-yard times, vertical leap, and the like.

In soccer, lateral acceleration is probably the single most important physical attribute a player can have, and it also happens to be very difficult to test outside game situations. That may contribute to the underestimation of soccer players' athletic abilities.

In the US, and several other countries, it's called soccer.
