It was the "Dick's Sporting Goods" commercial, but it was MLS-based/soccer-based nonetheless. I was very pleased to see this.

It's the same Dick's Sporting Goods commercial that they've been running on ESPN at all times/events since April. Nice commercial, but lets not fall over ourselves thinking this is a breakthrough by ESPN or something. Dick's bought advertising time and decided to run their 2007 commercial (The only one I've seen for them on any channel since April) during football.

I am pretty sure that commercial will be the tipping point for soccer in the USA.

Well. It's a nationally televised game. It's also the first major college fb game of the year which I'm sure millions of people are watching.

You don't have to be a jacka$$. i swear, i try to reason with you on many issues, and yet you continue to be a jerk. Yankees.... I don't think they're happy unless they're upset about something...

Anyway, for those who care, I thought it was pretty cool. I know they've shown it before, I also know that many people are watching this game.

If you're a true fan, you shouldn't be watching American Football.

SEC Football, nothing better. War Eagle!

They also gave us at least 3 Beckham is hurt updates if not more. There were no soccer updates / soccer commericals last year, that's a small step forward IMO.

It's a commercial you dumbass. The only people who care about commercials are the ones associated with the product,in this case it happens to be us MLS fans.
Do you seriously think that if they showed a commercial for your beloved NHL anyone would give a ********.

All the Dick's sporting goods that I've been in recently are lacking MLS merchandise completely and have a very limited selection of soccer equipment. The company is sending a mixed message of supporting the sport/MLS.

Let's go App St indeed. What a great result. Those kinds of upsets are always wonderful unless it's your team on the receiving end of it. My Terps are handling business though. Nothing spectacular, but a nice workmanlike effort. I'd like 2 more TDs for a 38-7 final score.

I like the new soccer commercials for MLS Primetime comparing soccer to basketball and football.
