They Coulda Helped The Last Month

  1. The bad news:
While the FIRE have scored three goals in the last four losses, FIRE midfielder Miguel Saavedra scored in the first half to help the Milwaukee Rampage beat fellow FIRE affiliate Minnesota Thunder 2-1. John Wolyneic assisted Miguel's goal and bagged the second half game winner The Rampage now advance to the A-League Western Conference Final.

    The good news:
Amos Magee is now available to the FIRE. You know, the guy who scored as many goals in one game (against the Crew no less) as all but three players on the FIRE.

I ran into the Thunder yesterday afternoon in Milwaukee...apparently I was staying in the same hotel as they were.

For being there for a playoff game they sure weren't too fired up.
