I'm watching Miami-Kansas City on CBS, and there are soccer lines messing up the football field! What a disgrace! Move the Chiefs now! Oh, the humanity!
See soccer lines being on the football field is a sign that soccer has arrived in America. See, the people see the lines and don't think about it, but subliminally, they see that soccer is a sport to watch. Also, if the lines are there on the field, it could mess up the players in a football game somehow and make them lose. If they lose enough, people will stop going to the games and the team will be forced to move somewhere else. And like what would have happened if baseball went on strike, people would have obviously turned to soccer as their sport of choice, since it's better. Oh, and also, I think that this is just another way that soccer has influenced the rest of the world just like how sometimes I hear OLE being chanted at baseball games ot people who blow horns or people doing the wave. Soccer has finally arrived.
I wish supporters of American Football like Kraft and Hunt would build American Football Specific Stadia that NFL teams deserve. And we wonder why football isn't taken more seriously.
I don't understand why they have to use overtime in Football. I mean really, the football purist should always want a tie - er, I mean draw. A nil-nil draw is always more exciting than a three point overtime win. Really, it demeans the spitit of the game for the players to give it their all for 60 minutes only to have it come down to whoever has a better kicker. I hate that the NFL caters to the ignorant masses that only watch football for the great passing, awesome running power, and exciting touchdowns instead of the heart and soul of the game that us true pointyball purists know is the better reason to watch.
Exactly, they need to get their own stadia so they don't have to play on that awful grass anymore. I feel sorry for them becuase I know they want to play on the likes of astroturf and fieldturf, but they can't cause of stupid roundball.
