I thought he looked good. Rennes were pinned back trying to hold onto the lead against PSG. Siebatcheu had one really nice long pass wide that almost led to a third goal. He is really physical with good hold up play.

I just find it hard to believe he isn't better than every single forward option GGG likes other than Jozy, and that's an open question since we haven't really seen him break through yet.

Not sure what happened to him. He was tearing it up and then he got injured. I guess he lost his mojo and hasn't found it since. At 6'3 with excellent speed and a good motor, this kid should be doing much better than he is doing.

At this point it's obvious he'll never play for France. We should call him now and get the one time switch done before he ends up in a Cameroon Jersey.

Yeah we could use another striker who can't score, to join Novakovich, Wright, and the MLSers.

What do we have to lose? Siebatcheu is not doing great but it is a higher level than any of the guys you named. What I like about him is that he has a nice combination of technique, power, and speed. Better touch and finisher than Zardes, faster and more technical than Novakovich. I wouldn't start him over Jozy or even Sargent until he earns but clearly a better option to have off the bench than anything we could muster on the current roster v Canada.

exactly... USMNT team needs all the help it can get. We are definitely not in position to turn away talent, especially talent with Siebatcheu's updside.

I think he's only played youth friendlies, so he wouldn't need an official one-time switch.
