"Had to get the train from Potsdamer Platz: I Siebatcheu did there... Theoson Jordan Siebatcheu Pefok at Union Berlin"

With a name that long, he deserves the longest thread title imaginable with a nod to David Bowie.

Unless they aren't done buying players (and I would hope they aren't), he has basically no competition for minutes. If he's only in the hunt, UBerlin is doomed. The starting spot is his absent another transfer.

Eisern Union! I went to see them in April. They beat Frankfurt 2-0 and the Alte Försterei atmosphere was fantastic.

Well, in the worst case scenario, if he moves them from Top 5 in the Bundesliga to releg fodder, no one can say he's not an influential player.

And then everyone would realize that yes, he is American.

Maybe, but you're forgetting the most important thing.

That @Suyuntuy will get to say I told you so.

As I said yesterday….great move! I have a feeling Union are going to love him. That is….. when he starts banging in those goals. ;)

A great, great opportunity for him IMO. A UEFA ball BL1 side, but one that that doesn't have the baggage of a well-stocked trophy cabinet that stopped acquiring new stock 20 years ago, so the fans will be passionate and demanding but probably rather lacking in the "we are a Big Club" sense of entitlement.

They're a well-run club. They don't drop 6 million up front on players without serious thought

As all have expressed, great move for the player. And a great move for Yanks Abroad fans. Can’t wait to have a reason to watch Union Berlin.

Who says they haven't? I'd be surprised if they didn't TBH.

It's just that they'd never spend that 20 million on him.

Which is why they have 20 million in the first place. :D

When they win CL spot this year, they would say he is French. LOL.

That's a good barometer of how well a Yank Abroad is doing, when he's a dual.
