I just heard a rumor that Steven Cohen and Nick Gelber of World Soccer Weekly / Big Soccer radio will be getting their own show on Fox Sports World. Supposedly it will be a Premeirship preview show on Friday nights, and people will call in and email them on the show and they will talk about things. Sort of like the show Windtunnel on the SPEED Channel.

I think this was be a cool idea for a show. Has anyone else heard anythign about it? Oliver?

Where did the rumor come from?

IMO, FSW would give Max Bretos, John Harkes, and Nick Webster first dibs on an "Americanized" EPL Preview show. Maybe even Steve Cangialosi from MSG as well.

Either way, it'd be nice for FSW to provide an opportunity for us to hear some "analysis" of EPL as opposed to what TWI currently provides plus some segments on Sky Sports News (I don't have FSW but I assume Sky has Rodney Marsh, George Best and/or Andy Gray on from time to time).

Why would they waste their money on something like that instead of putting into MLS broadcasts? The "EPL" has enough coverage on FSW. After all, MLS is American and Fox Sports World happens to be there too. lol

I'm pretty sure I head them comment that they'd approached FSW about a show but got rejected.

Given the cost and the fact that TWI already provides a preview/magazine show, FSW probably would only do it if a presenting sponsor was found.
