Yep. Great performance by the Atlas Lions! After bidding to host the World Cup five times, they deserve to be on the big stage, playing silky soccer and I hope they meet Japan on Tuesday.
It's a bit worrying that Croatia never killed this game, they looked a bit poor up front at times, taking too long, not clinical. Against Spain, they'll have even less chances to score.
Gvardiol played so well that he's probably going to price out Real Madrid lol at least 100 million if not more. What a player Thankfully a position of strength for us
People are making apologies for him, but a player of that greatness, genius, status on the biggest stage, should be ultra-sharp and finishing the way the past masters did at their World Cups. Lukaku should have scored two or three today. Belgium will be back with a bang in 2024, though, I'd put $1000 on that. But in the meantime, it will not be fun to be in the Belgian F.A., team, fan-base. Croatia need to sharpen up when scoring, too. Could be a great match against Spain, though.
Wow, wouldnt want to be Lukaku tonight. Feels bad man. Great to see Morocco make it through, fun team who were very unfortunate last world cup.
To be fair if he flopped I would've looked stupid bc I was so high on him but I knew he was a special player. Best youngster maybe we have ever had.
It's crazy how slow he is. That last recovery by Davies was embarrassing. Maybe Cheddira should be getting his minutes.

That Fox Sports 1 commentator needs to stop using German words in the middle of sentences. He does the same when he covers Bundesliga games for ESPN+.
You must be thinking of someone else. He’s a good player. He needs to play more and select his next club smartly.
