I agree with this. Problem with Neymar is he never matured as a player. He never got it through his head that less is more, hanging onto the ball for a full extra second to draw contact and slow game down to bait opponents is a rigid way of thinking.

Neymar had all the tools, but he leaned too far into the flicks/tricks/Youtube stuff.

Not a surprise at this point. The team is good enough to carry Ronaldo now, whether he starts or not he is still going to find minutes.

This is going to be a frustrating match, Morocco are physical and will sit deep.

 

That’s my problem with Vinny. Too carefree when it comes to his game. Too often he’s missing an easy chance and he’s laughing it off like it’s no big deal. Drives me nuts.

I understand not dropping Ramos after a hat trick but Felix has been pretty horrible through the whole tournament in my opinion so Cristiano could have started ahead of him. Still love Santos though and trust his decisions.

João Felix was outstanding against the Swiss. He is brutally inconsistent though, not holding my breath he performs again.

It would have been stupid and totally unprofessional from the coach if he had started him .

 

Felix has been pretty good IMO, he’s been a catalyst in his link up play.

 

Both teams have good goalies. Croatia has a psychological advantage going into the game. They dismantled Argentina in the group stage 4 years ago. Unless Croatia bring their Japan performance, it's hard to see how Argentina can deal with with Croatia direct style.
