What part of "Just Whack Iraq" suggests "freedom" at all, Ian? I ask this because this sign is actually quite honest about what this war will really be like. A pro-freedom sign MIGHT say something about getting rid of Saddam, sure. But, as this good ole boy knows, that's not going to happen via war without first "whacking" the entire country. And let's be honest here, does this guy look like he's interested in "freedom" for the veil-wearing, hookah-smoking, 5-time-per-day praying masses of Iraq? Nah...it's the "whacking" that has his blood pumping. Oh, and yes, he does look like he's got a set of matching salad bowls at home that all say "Cool Whip" on the sides. (apologies to Jeff Foxworthy)
Ian is inbred... Just because your Uncle Cleetus pulled up in his '84 Bronco shouting, between the gap in his teeth, "I got me one of dem DEEGEETALL camras!," and you ran around actually documenting your family reunion with it, does NOT a significant anti-peace protest make...
I heard that some idiot army wanted to come via Holland,we told them to fuck off.Who´s giving the orders since Bush is dead, you Ian? LOL again
I absolutely LOVE the hypocrisy on these boards.... God forbid people stage a rally in support, they must be "rednecks" or homophobes. It says a lot about the anti-war people. I'm neutral on this issue, I haven't made up my mind on supporting Bush yet. I still have issues with both sides.
have you seen the pictures? those are rednecks if i have ever seen one, i think some of those guys just got done with deer huntin' season and had to hitch a ride over to the ralley b/c their 84' ford is on 4 blocks in their front yard... see the funny thing is; all these people bashing the anti-war protesters wanting us to support our troops...you fvcking idiots, we do support our troops. we just don't support the foreign policy of our presidential administration. idiots; when a guy looks like this: can you really expect anything different?
I can never figure out why people think being anti-war means being anti-soldier. I work at a major US military installation, and I know officers (and recently-separated officers) who think this war is foolish. Are they somehow self-loathing? My grandfather was an officer in the Army in WWII, my pops got an appointment to West Point (but failed the physical - poor vision) and is a life-long USAF civil servant, and I'm a former Air Force ROTC member and current defense contractor, and I'm against the war. Does that mean I hate my coworkers, my late grandfather, etc etc? Is Band of Brothers not actually my favorite mini-series ever?
I would like people to quote where I said, if you're anti-war, you're anti-US... oh ok I didn't, thanks for the clarification. I was merely pointing out how people in the anti-war picture thread throw a fit if someone makes fun of the people in the pics yet it's ok to do it here. It's called hypocrisy! ---- too much to drink last night... head pounding
