This thread hopes to be a clearinghouse for artists currently residing in the "where are they now?" file... Post the artists you are looking for, or reply with posted artists' whereabouts. -------------------------------- I've been trying to find out what has become of ex-Transvision Vamp singer Wendy James, who was last heard from when she put out her (only?) solo album totally written and produced by Elvis Costello. Also looking for: -Scottish new wave funksters APB -Mark Hollis, the main guy from Talk Talk. He had a solo disc in '98, but haven't heard anything from him since.
I'll start with the answers: According to this thread, Mark Hollis has retired from music. Wendy James has her own site, or at least it's a fan site that's kinda nice. Doesn't say what she's doing now. Meanwhile, what ever happened to the first departed female singer from The Beautiful South, Brianna Corrigan? (And for that matter, what happened to departed #2, Jacqui?) Brianna remains the most beautiful singer that I have ever seen live.
Of coarse everyone wants to know what happened to the good looking chick, maybe now that shes out of the spotlight I might have a chance with her.
Thanks for the links. Apparently even Wendy's biggest fans have no clue what she's up to or where she is.
Lady Mis Kier and DJ SUperDmitry all went back to House music. I remeber DJ DMitry had a Cd called Streams of Consciousness a while back. I recall seeing her at a rave in 1994 in Cleveland. I think she was doing vocals for a Jungle album. I want to know what happened to Jim Henson, the first host of Talk Soup.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Greg Kinnear was the first host of Talk Soup, and John Henson the second. Jim Henson created the Muppets.
He got clubbed. (dodges tomatoes) I'll be here all week... remember to take care of your bartender and waitress...
