A low-ball offer is better than getting nothing. Same way a retail store puts a big for sale sign on something they can't move. Hey everyone, it's for sale, cheap! Better than having to throw it away.

    McKennie will have opportunities.
A Champions league club has already tried to nab him this off-season (Aston Villa).

Wes seemed to REALLY dislike his time in England with Leeds, and I wonder if that's part of the reason he didn't move to Villa.
    I don't know.

    The last bit is correct.

    the first bit is delusional.

absolutely waiting for PSV to bust a big move this summer.

Any idea what candidate (MLS or abroad) is most likely candidate for Earnie to bust a move on? I was kinda hoping Jones or Tolkin but they both just re-upped. The more I see Cade at Chivas, the more I wish that happened, but hes actually showing great progression at Chivas.

I wonder if he looks at Gio as an option, just purely as an opportunity cost sort of player. or Weston on a loan/buy

I've thought that too but would he then be competing with Tillman for minutes?

Tolkin has taken a step back this year. Dylan Nealis might be the best Metro fullback at the moment.

that’s true but imo Gio is the flat out better player. But to keep guys getting minutes hopefully that Ajax link re-emerges. Honestly my favorite one even ahead of marseille

They are quite different but I'd like both to get lots of minutes and not have one sitting beside Pepi on bench.

exactly that’s the quandary here , you don’t want a ya coming for another yas spot

I’m trying to think of which potential yanks in MLS or abroad could be the strongest possibilities for Earnie to grab

    This would make some sense.

It isn't CL but the purple people eaters are in Europe and Palladino would be a good manager for Wes.

@NietzscheIsDead per below Chiesa going for about 30M+ $$. What do you think that makes McK worth? Both are in last year of contract.

According to the latest reports in Italy, Spurs are ‘close’ to landing Chiesa in a deal worth €30-35million (£25-29.5m).
Tottenham ‘close’ to fourth and fifth summer signings as Euro giant pushes to complete big sale (msn.com)

The 26-year-old is poised to ‘say goodbye’ to both Juve and Italy as a whole, as he has supposedly rejected clubs such as Napoli and Roma in order to join Postecoglou’s project at Spurs.

Should Chiesa officially join Spurs, then he will compete with the likes of James Maddison, Son Heung-min, Timo Werner, Brennan Johnson and Dejan Kulusevski for a spot in Postecoglou’s starting eleve

That could be a good spot for him to revive his career. However the Prem is a more physical league and injuries have been his biggest issue.

OTH, Paratici knows him well and he will be Playing in Juve's franchise in the Prem.;)

I am rapidly becoming a Serie A fan. Now if they can just get serious about punishing the racism. It’s like fighting in hockey. It’s easy to stop if you really want to. College hockey players don’t fight because they want to play. Fans want to attend matches too.

Is he really going to get more at Fiorentina than he would have at Villa?
