anyone who would put that out there that this is what would warrant a player being suspended from a game is either incredibly stupid or has an agenda to push.
It will be awhile before someone spills the beans publicly. Wouldn't be surprised if its years down the road before we hear exactly what happened and possibly only even when some of these guys are retired already.
Go into detail. And saying “science” is not going into detail. And while you’re at it, please state the qualifications that make you credible.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.ir...-of-state-s-covid-19-cases-1.4529036?mode=amp everyone should know these basic facts.
OK, it seems that many people in the press know what happened. Why aren't any of them coming forward with the information?
Landon's a pretty level headed dude. For him to say what McKennie did is almost beyond repair to the team and his teammates is quite a statement. This doesn't sound like he grabbed a sandwich somewhere after curfew.
COVID doesn’t spread because one bit of it is transmitted from one person to another. The amount of the viral load is crucial, both for the ability of the virus to infect a new person, and for the severity of the new case. A jogger by necessity isn’t going to spend a lot of time next to another person, which obviously reduces the firal load that is transmitted. That is why outdoor sporting events are dangerous even though they’re outdoors. You spend 2 1/2 hours next to the same people at a soccer match. Remember that it was a European match that started the horrific COVID numbers in Lombardy (I think it was Lombardy.) But, again, you’re not going to get COVID because you’re walking down a sidewalk while a jogger runs past you.
Juventus is going to transfer list McKennie in January. Shame he can't follow rules, but self-discipline is an important requirement for success.
Because first and foremost they want to stay in USSF’s good graces, which is why our soccer press sucks. But I’ll make an exception for @bshredder if he tells us what happened!
Twitter seems to think he was out partying and crashed a bachelorette party but I can’t tell if it’s just a meme or is for real
THIS. The cowardice of the mainstream journalists and broadcasters who cover this team is ridiculous. If this was happening in the UK the people in the studio would be frothing. As it is I can see that Stu Holden wants to say something negative but he’s almost afraid to in front of Lalas. It may be that all these people are Greg’s friends, and played with him. I don’t know. But we just have a terrible fed. I fear that they’re going to take us all down without doing anything to stop the bleeding. And nobody will hold them accountable.
To be fair, I don’t think you can walk down the street in Nashville without crashing a bachelorette party.
a la Harkes and Wynalda's wife? Harkes even wrote a book denying the affair years later and it wasn't until John Terry banged Wayne Bridge's significant other (wife?) that Wynalda spoke up on his Fox call-in show. Then everyone started talking. Players do dumb things. Remember Charlie Davies' after hours incident. That almost killed him and actually ended his international career.
I think that we have a legitimate scapegoat for the let down in the first two games. I am as big of a supporter and believer in Wes as you will find, but this kind of thing wrecks a team. Against ES, Weston was anonymous when he wasn’t poor. He was banned from the team prior to the Canada game and there’s no telling how badly that effected team morale. I can tell you this much, he’ll never captain the team again.
Wrong scapegoat in my opinion. Christian Pulisic‘s press conference was full of coded language, alarming coded language.
Yep they are all friends. They want to stay “cool” with each other. they want to get invited to the USSF parties. And that’s the problem.
