Shame we lost out on Bremer, but i think we still have a chance at Ibanez playing for Italy

No to Ibanez. No italian blood. Need to move away from these mediocre to average foreigners.

I'm fine with him... his family was Italian and emigrated to Brazil.

Ibanez is Uruguayan / Brazilian and only became Italian thanks to his spouse i believe it was.

Icardi should have picked Italy a few years back.

Mancini would have easily picked him and possibly made him captain.

If it wasn't for that Max Lopez -Wanda Nara love triangle I think he would have played in this WC or for sure in the last one! :)

he's very average. I agree he's better than those other 3. But we have some time until we "need" guys... so lets develop some youth CBs.

Also.. we weren't his first choice... so F him

Actually, Mancini made him captain at Inter I believe.

We would have had a lot of drama as opposed to what we have now....

Nothing like Frank Rijkaard -Franco Baresi but it would have been juicy nonetheless....:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I can settle the oriundo debate:

If they reject their birth country to play for Italy then ok. Ie Giuseppe Rossi, Volpato.

If they wouldn’t have made the 5th string of their country and they’re poached to play for Italy (Luiz Felipe) then no. Italians have to have a bit more pride here

England masters of the world cup...yes....

let's see...Tunisia, Panama, Colombia, Sweden, Iran, Wales, Senegal.

tied USA, lost to Belgium twice (LOL), and Croatia

what a brave team that is

It's the player with most caps that wears the captain's armband for the national team.

He will have had more caps with Mancini.

So if Chiellini or Bonucci weren’t playing I’m sure he will have made him captain.

Since he never picked Italy, he wouldn’t be able to get the chance.

Sadly because of the Maxi-Wanda love triangle , he has a total of 8 caps and has been out of the international scene for almost 5 years.

Like I said, no one is made captain. The one with the most caps is automatically captain. Icardi woudn't have had more caps than some of the others, and he's a shit head so no one would be making him captain. I don't even know why this is a point of discussion.

Another reason on why Icardi should have chosen to play for Italy.

Mancini though at Inter did in fact make Mauro Icardi captain of Inter in 2015, at age 22.

Mancini: Icardi is Inter's captain (beinsports.com)

I'm more than cerrtain Roby will have made him the protagonist of the national team.

It must have been interesting last season (2021-2022) when Messi signed with PSG playing alongside Icardi.

Looking back a year ago today I believe, this was the beginning of the end of Morata's stay at Juve.

Allegri-Morata, scintille dopo il cambio: "Hai regalato un fallo, stai zitto!"

HAHA. In actuality, them winning wouldn't be my worst case scenario. I still want someone to eliminate France first to prevent star 3.

I am ok with Argentina wining star 3 since the majority of the country is Italian HAHA

I have resigned myself that Brazil will win star 6 at some point now or later. We have to accept it.

Even if England I will still come up with ways to clown them HAHA
