I agree but it's just a comparison..giroud is the master!! British press despise him, so I expect a hat trick!

Are you French, or just really attracted to Giroud? Not that there's anything wrong with that. :)

Don't think he starts over Di Marco.. but would have been a massive upgrade over Emerson. Perhaps 3rd on the pecking order behind Di Marco and Spina (when healthy)

Yes, we hate France but I'd much rather them win over England.

Definitely want England out. The British press is insufferable. Don't have anything against the current players

True, but I'd rather France remain at 2 WC's. I don't care if England get their second even though we'll have to hear for 4 years that this England team is one of the best ever on par with Brazil 1970.

It was very important for Germany to GTFO. Brazil also I don't want them to get the 6th.

I don't care if Modric was on his hands and knees crawling around due to fatigue I wouldn't sub him off, wtf.

it’s Barella. Dude does it all for Inter and Italy. No Barella, No Euro trophy

let’s be clear, Mancini is the reason we aren’t in Qatar, not our midfield.

we are out due to Mancini’s Brazilian love affair and inability to ban Jorginho from penalties.

Keep in mind Bellingham has played against typical garbage opponents fed by FIFA in a desperate attempt to help them. Let’s see what he does against France, finally a real team

I agree. Italy has already gotten through this World Cup rather unscathed.

at this point, I’d rather England beat France just so France stays at two.

keeping Germany at three and France at two was important.

I’ve given up on Brazil staying at 5. Impossible to keep them from getting six in time.

With France get knocked out, and having the unbeaten record preserved, all in all a successful World Cup.

Another reason England winning would be great is to have their guard lowered in euro qualifying.

Croatia win on penalties, I don't think I've ever seen a team take so many bad penalties like Japan, simply embarrassing.

The Brits live in their own echo chamber so they always think they are better than they really are. They count themselves as being in the elite club with the other great footballing nations. All based on their one WC victory in 66 that many believe invloved shenanigans. They are not a Brazil, Germany, Italy, Argentina (now) France caliber nation.

And let's be real, France is more of a super wealthy club team than a national team. They never even made a WC final until 98 when they discovered new 'recruiting techniques'...
