it never fully went out... by the few hairs that @roverman has left on his balding drunk english head it barely stayed in.
It most certainly did go over the line. The finest of margins that sent Japan to the knockout rounds and eliminated Germany on the final day of the group stage pic.twitter.com/3MSVlvp4hD— Tom Bogert (@tombogert) December 1, 2022
I was atually rooting for your team to take down the US, and for once, I felt what it was like to root for clowns.
It's a sphercial shape. The curvature is still inside the line. Players do this on corner kicks all the time. It's valid.
Don't worry Belgium fans...When the fifa rankings are released in December, Belgium will fall to a seocnd place tie with Argentina. What a joke. I remember in 2021 Italia clowned that overrrated heap of garbage twice and somehow Belgium were still ranked 1
This is the best photo yet of Japan's goal-line goal.... pic.twitter.com/j9E6Tplwtl— Out Of Context Football (@nocontextfooty) December 2, 2022 So how about the incredible displays of the former A & J-Leaguers?
Who cares?! If it screwed anyone, it's Germany. Plus, you can tell that one was photoshopped. In the meantime Portugal goes up a goal early, and are now sitting back defending tight and counter-attacking. Outdated football, right?
I remember Gregg Berhalter coaching the Columbus Crew SC. As I recall he did pretty well for them. Just looked it up and he qualified for the playoffs in 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2018. They also reached the MLS Cup final in 2015 but lost at home 2–1 to the Portland Timbers. You guys seem to have a great organization with two new stadiums in 22 years. I don’t think anyone on earth can boast this. I recall Berhalter as a player and thought he was good. I'd like to see him do well withthe national team but now they are saying they want to hire Roberto Martinez of Belgium.
he did a good job for us until Steve Clark decided to dribble the ball into his own net 30 seconds into the MLS Cup Final. Clown.
FFS this is the world cup thread, not the MLS one. Where are the mods? Someone start an MLS thread or something, quick.
Actually, it was Johnny6 on Wednesday who brought up MLS initially as he was trying to associate the league with the supposed 'poor play of the US national team'.... Considering the American team had no starters representing the league against Iran, in my opinion, it seemed at the time like another futile attempt to degrade or discount US soccer. These coaches that are leaving out great Serie A players are NUTS!!! Dusan should have started every game for Serbia.. maybe they would have had a better fate. Leao playing sparingly off the bench. Why wasn't he played today in a meaningless game pretty much? Tomori being left off the English team is comical. He's their best CB, full stop. Dybala i wont go there.. i believe he's still recovering from injury?
