    Actually, a lot of parking meters in this country take bills and credit cards, so this is becoming less true by the day.

    And the kids can pay for the laundry machines in the dorms with the same cards they use for their meals. Their life is easier than mine was.

    EZ-Pass & Smart Tag automated toll payment systems have greatly reduced the need for quarters on toll roads.

    On the other hand, have you seen how much jukeboxes charge these days? I don't know why they even bother with the coinslots on the newer machines because change doesn't get you shit.

    I need to wash my car to get rid of the sea salt and the car wash place only accepts change...

    i have a small leatherette box in my dresser that contains about 16.75 in quarters.

    i'm waiting until silver hits $1138 a kilo and i'm going to make bank!

    You can't use change in Las Vegas any more but on the bright side it's usually what you end up leaving with :)
