hehe no box and the where is for me to know and you to never find out but ill let ya buy them from me
Without the box im guessing you'd get at least $220-250, so I think they would be worth the investment
Hey Guys, i have a pair of f50.7 Yellow Black. They are probably the greatest looking boots i have ever seen ! what price would they be valued at nowadays ? They are brand new, with Lightweght chasis. And all studs. Dont have personal pics but there a pro direct soccer pic.
yah thats a good assessment, basically whatever someone is willing to pay. i could be totally wrong on this, but it SEEMS that the value of a BNIB (brand new in box) boot sort goes like this (note: im totally generalizing here, and could be way off on value or time period, but if you think differently i would be interested in seeing what you thought): (1) It first comes out, it sells for its MSRP....some shops will be like "zomg we have them for 20 dollars less than MSRP!" (2) they are out for a few months to half a year, stores start to get other colorways or new boots, start competing on prices little by little, the boot drops in price by 40 to 60 bucks or so. (3) Half year to a year or more later, they start getting into the just above half to 2/3rds their MSRP value....im generalizing here.... (4) A year or even 2 (or even more), its now a dated boot, attention is going to all the new boots, so peeps like Quiglie start getting all the leftovers and selling them for super dirt cheap.....BUT.... Now here is where lots of factors come together to determine a boot's price down the line. All the random leftovers get sold off by people like Quiglie on ebay. Its now no longer in stores, its discontinued, Quiglie and all the other ebayers no longer have them, etc. If it was a top of the line boot when it first came out and its been a number of years, depending on all kinds of factors, the boot can hover around the price range it was @ (3) or (2), or it could skyrocket and become a Mania where its worth its MSRP again or even more. Special edition boots seem to do that, so do certain boots like Manias and other older preds, certain limited edition colorways, certain colorways that were way popular, certain boots that were just flat out super popular like the Vapor IIIs, etc.... anywho thats my take on it.
i would say those f50.7s....even the f50.6s, are still in the tail end of the (4) stage. (in my opinion, which could be a totally wrong opinion lol) however, whatever those f50s that were before the f50.6s are called, those are in the MSRP or slightly more range. they are sort of the Manias of the F50s, while the f50.6s and f50.7s are like the pulses/absolutes in terms of value.
thanks for all that great infromation dj, could you put a price on them though ? yourself personally ?
oh man i dunno lol is it a special/ limited edition colorway? (i think thats the first yellow one ive seen)....and what size? if you have like, size 14 feet that sort of decreases value lol....do you have the original box? honestly, right now, i think 80-90 is about right...i mean, i see them "buy now" on ebay for up to 125+....but would someone buy them for that much right now? another thing is....honestly, its a buyers market right now it seems. Economy is shit still, wholesale sellers are willing to let go of boots for super cheap just to cover their costs, people arn't buying as much....so unless you NEED to sell your boots right now, i would recommend holding on to them for a while until the economy gets better, people are buying more and sellers dont have to stoop their prices so much, and your boots will be older and harder to find. so yes, i would say 80-90 right now, but they could definitely go up in value down the line to be worth much more.
thats a pretty common size, which is better for the value since more people wear that size than say....14 lol. i mean, you could say the value is its MSRP...whatever it came out for, since its new in box or whatever, but when i say value im going basically by my mental average i see on ebay as of right now. why, were you looking to sell those? edit: oops, i guess you are trying to sell them right now....well, good luck!

Very interesting thread. Anyone want to give me an estimate on these boots' value? Should I keep them? Wear them? Sell them? Adidas Predator Karnivor - 10us (slightly used) Adidas Predator Pulse 2 - 10.5us - silver/red (worn and scuffed) Nike Match Mercurial - 10us - silver/black (worn) Puma Cellerator GCi - 10.5us - black/white/lime (NWOB) Thanks for any help.
im not sure, but i recommend going onto ebay, searching for those exact boots, and seeing how much they are going for.
predator karnivor? never heard of them but when the white/black/pink vapors come out..do you think they will be worth more? for some reason pink cleats seem to be worth more
Predator karnivor were a 'one down' from precisions, like what absolados are to absolutes. To be honest i'd just wear all those, maybe keep the cellerators for a while longer then pop em up on ebay, the only kinda used boots that make a profit are limited edition boots or rare boots, worn karnivors wouldn't be worth much and the pulses would take you another couple years to make em rare. Just my 2 cents.
