I guess you are joking but a Barca Atletic v Real Madrid Castilla Primera Federación friendly match is not going to alter the transfer strategy.

Way too slow there from Pablo Torre. Should have taken a quick shot.

Big waste of counter there. Heavy ball to Raphinha.

Kings of pre-season El Clasicos. Haha

Many missing players, but at least fans got a good match to watch IMO. This Guler kid is too damn good on the ball for my taste. Shame we missed out on him.

Madrid fans paying $700+ to sit in pouring rain and watch their team lose to Barca u21 side is worth something.

Yes, I know full well that I'm spitting into the wind.

I'm just hoping for a miracle that someone, ANYONE, can change Flick's mind, while somehow doubling Deco's IQ, and fixing Laporta's self-serving greed.

I'll also take Dani Olmo having his annual 90 day injury NOW so he won't pass the medical exam, or Tebas telling those imbeciles in the club that they don't have the cash necessary to comply with FFP regulations.

Any of the above works for me.

I'm fighting a losing cause, but like Davy Crockett at the Alamo, I shall continue to fight the inevitable.

There's a lot of that in this club.

Its vexing, in that ball watching is easily fixed, IF the club actually works at it. It takes the coaching staff to DEMAND better than a U15 side from the players. It takes the players to turn their heads when defending as much as they do when the team is in possession. It takes teammates using their voices to help each other.

Alas, this ball watching epidemic doesn't seem to have been put to the sword, just yet.

This is an issue that fvkced Barça vs P$G in the UCL, vs LPB in La Liga, and vs Unionistas in CDR. This has been going on for too long, under more than one manager, for it to be "just" the players.

Missing Barça in my town because of f'n covid

Looks like we're settling in after spotting Milan 2 goals. Lewy pulls one back

You know when like 3 kids stack on top of each other under a trench coat to sneak into a movie theater?

That's Milan's GK Torriani looks like.

So the Christensen at DM experiment continues under Flick...

Not that he's all that bad, but can we prioritize signing a real DM??

Can they stop the stoopid Olmo purchase, and buy a #6?

    Also, Lenglet sucks at football.

I think Flick is giving Lenglet minutes to up his value (risky) so that we can offload him to the first bidder

I want Merino. He'd be a shrewd buy. But we don't buy shrewdly, apparently.

Casado, like pretty much every Barca player got caught ballwatching on Pulisic's goal.

This is fvkcing frustrating, because ballwatching should be easily cured, if they actually worked at it.

Merino would be good for this side, but they squandered cash on players they don't need, like Roque and Olmo.

Along with the slick goal, Lewy's been rocking the flick-ons in the first half. Almost had an assist to Raph and another to Pau.

Could be deadly if Lewy could link up like that with Fermin, who for me is the best attacking midfielder for bursting through the lines. And Fermin is Spain's MVP in Paris right now. Expecting big things from him, if we don't stick Olmo ahead of him on the depth chart.

    2-2 Lewa again!

Pau Victor has such high IQ. Great through-ball by Raph (edit: Bernal?) to set it up

Remarkable that only 4 players in the whole squad are over 30
    MAtS
    Iñigo
    Gundo
    Lewa

Shockingly, Lenglet is only 29. We should be able to offload him to a mid-table or minnow Prem team that puts a premium on 'Barça pedigree'
