Make BeerMan yet another reason to vote out Republicans in 2020.

(Ominous music played over his whiney-looking face) "Do we want a SC justice who presses his pallid penis against coeds? America can do better. Vote out all Republicans and really make America great again"

That’s incorrect. Majority in the house, 2/3 in the senate. The AG and DOJ have nothing to do with it.

Yes. Shoot to win the presidency & senate and then "correct" the mess Trump has made. Making BeerMan's life miserable should be high on that list.

Yeah I agree, that's the way it's supposed to be but first, just like the Dems are trying to get articles of impeachment started against Trump, his AG is already running blocker. Barr will do Trumps will with Kav also and block that as long as he can. If they block and cause it to go all the way to Trumps Supreme Court. Then Bam! Shot down again. The house is fairly safe but the senate is McConnell ruled. I doubt it will get anywhere near 2/3.

That mess is going to be here another 50 years. Might as well go ahead now and try to impeach. If he gets another term, the SCOTUS will be pretty much permanently destroyed (again, another 50 years).

That isn't an off the record conversation. That's called lying.

An off record conversation simply means the contents can't be used. It is up to the journalist or author to agree to this in the rules of engagement.

It doesn't extend to lying that you never talked to the guy. You simply can't mention it.

Closer to what he wanted would be on background. So comments might be attributed to sources close to BK

Either that’s one hell of a coincidence, or the Supreme Court is a corrupt institution.

    ok that’s not fair.

    it’s PERCEIVED as corrupt.

It is not a "wealth test". It is a public assistance test.

Those are, of course, the same thing.

One does not get public assistance above a certain amount of wealth.

    You know this.

This isn't a new concept nor is it unique to the US. It has been around for over 150 years.

    You know this.

You can have open borders or a generous welfare state, but you cannot have both.

    You know this too.

So let me get this straight. You write a lie, it's called out, and then you decide, rather than own up to the lie, to talk about something else.

Stop lying, and maybe people will treat you decently.

So let me get this straight. You post a position you are too lazy to defend, you get called out, and rather than try to defend the position you start calling people liars, to talk about something else.

Standard Brummie M.O. How is pointing out most countries have laws that encourage immigrants to be self sufficient make me a bad person?

HOW DOES THIS CONNECT TO YOUR LIE THAT WEALTH=/=PUBLIC CHARGE

Nothing you are writing is linked to anything else you are writing. Are you making this up as you go?

Again, it isn't a wealth test, it is a public assistance test. If that simple concept is too much for you to comprehend then we have nothing to discuss.

How does one determine if someone needs public assistance without examining their wealth?

Look, the law doesn't prevent people for immigrating. It prevents them from getting a green card if they are using a lot of public assistance. Perhaps you should look into the issue before throwing out insults and calling people liars?

Back in college a friend that was an Eagle Scout was going to camp for a few weeks in Canada. When asked at the border where they were staying, the group of four was honest and said they were camping. When they told the Canadian border guard they only had $100 between the four of them they were denied entrance to Canada.

That was 30 years ago. No idea if it has changed or not.

The test is whether or not they are USING public assistance, not whether or not they qualify for public assistance Why is that so hard for you to wrap your head around?

Were they separated from their troop leader? That is the kind of inhumanity AOC says is happening at our southern boarder.
