Has anyone noticed how quietly but effectively Cullen has played throughout all these games? He's got a great soccer mind and a good first touch, but his physical deficiencies were too exposed in central defense. In the midfield, he is so often in the right place at the right time. I attribute a lot of the Revs' "shape" to his strong positional play and mental consistency. Stevie Nichs is to be commended on putting Cullen where he can make such a great contribution.
I agree. I think he has been huge during this playoff run- unlimited energy every min of every game, crafty play, communicating with everyone! He is a model Rev!
I actually started a poll about this earlier in the year and I'm happy that he's continued to improve throughout the remainder of the season!
