Another coach who puts us in trouble, selects the wrong players and is liked by the TFF. After the pathetic losses against Romania and Hungary it became a very difficult task to qualify to the World Cup 2014.

Finding the right team and the right coach has been a problem since the glorious wins in the World Cup of 2002. Our last 3 coaches, Terim, Hiddink and Avci aren't that bad club coaches at all yet they can't be a decent NT coach for us.

That said, it's not impossible. With the right coach (which probably won't happen till the whole current members of the TFF gets sacked) and the right players we are capable of winning all remaining matches.

It's hard to lose matches when you can select players like Burak Yilmaz, Arda, Selcuk Inan, Gökhan Gönül, Özyakup, Semih Kaya, Tolga Zengin, Mehmet Topal and Alper Potuk (I probably forgot a few names). Yet the TFF are able to find coaches that are stupid enough to select the wrong players like ............................ Selcuk Sahin.

I sincerely hope that we qualify to the World Cup of 2014.

Although we were the better team, Avci made once again the wrong decisions by letting Mert Günok, who didn't play in the past 2 months, and that pretty much resulted in conceding 3 goals. He also played with players like Nuri Sahin who thinks he is an elite player, which is obviously not the case.

If that guy has any honor left he should leave the NT to pro's.

I hope we can play the next time like this:

    Onur
    Gönül - Semih - Toprak - Caner
    Selçuk Inan - Alper Potuk/Topal
    Özyakup
    Olcay/Kerim - Burak - Arda

Another pathetic defeat by our genius Avci. An honorable person would stop and accept his defeat, but this idiot continues with making stupid decisions, retarded ones.

Sinan Bolat played 1 game at his club yet he plays the full 90 minutes. Zan? Why didn't he start with Burak instead of Mevlüt? Avci made a team that has more ball possesssion, but concedes many goals and can't finish off chances.

Turkey can only become a successful NT by throwin out Avci and the Tüpçü.

Winning in Romania is key, but I don't know. You better hope that Hungary slips a couple times along the way, that's the only way I see Turkey getting in. I'm still puzzled on how you guys have been doing bad, there are some good players on Turkey. Arda Turan is a monster, one of my favorite players.

while we have enough good players to qualify to the World Cup, the problem is our NT's coach imo.

You see, he made a team that has only 1 ''power'' if you can call one: ball possession.
We concede many goals, waste many chances and every fcukin time he selects other footballers.

There is no tactic, no system in the Turkish NT at the moment and that's the main reason why we are not able to win against the mediocre teams, unfortunately.

Where were Selçuk Inan and Burak Yilmaz in the first 4 matches? Why do you play with Bulut and Burak while they obviously can't play with each other at Galatasaray? Why do keep selecting Fenerbahçe's Volkan, who nearly fails each NT match while Trabzonspor has 2 better goalies? Why do you select players from German relegation clubs, who can't even speak Turkish while there are enough decent footballers in the Turkish League? Many unanswered questions.

I'd like to see Aykut Kocaman, Fenerbahçe's former coach, because he knows how to build a team. I don't even care whether it's boring, ultradefensive football or football based on ball possession, I would like it when the coach can make a team out of it.

Still I think players like Arda, Burak alone should be able to beat teams like Latvia and Slovenia, unless we are really underestimating those teams.

true, Burak fails a lot at the NT though, and our coach plays with another goalie and DMs nearly every match, so it's hard to find stability.

Turkey, as I've known them, are a roller coaster team. It's not always clear what to expect from them. The coach is trying to find the right players for the FA's desired system, rather than trying to find the right system for the players he has at his disposal. That's why there is so much inconsistency in selections.

we are indeed an unpredictable team.

    Y. Demirören, the president of the Turkish FA, the one that is responsible for BJK's financial problems and the one that bought major flops such as Ricardo Quaresma, Guti, Kleberson and Ailton, should leave immediately. Everyone in Turkey knows how corrupt he is and yet the Turkish FA wanted him as their president. At this moment firing the Turkish FA's corrupt people can be an excellent first move.

Our coach selects different players in nearly every NT, which is a reason why we aren't consistent. You can't build a team by selecting different players each time. I would like it if Senol Günes would come back, someone that achieved unbelievably great results at the Turkish NT. Or Kocaman. Or someone that knows how to build a proper team.

I really hoped that Turkey could have qualified for the WC and with four matches remaining I don't see Turkey who is a distant 4th in their group to qualify. Losing to Romania at home and a draw with Hungary at home was devasting. Losing at Hungary will sunk them

NEWSFLASH: Abdullah Avci showed the world he has still honor left inside him and got sacked. He will no longer be Turkey's NT coach.

    D-DAY for the Turkish NT

If we win against Romania and all our remaining matches and Hungary loses/draws 1 match, we can become 2nd.

So far with Terim in charge: Turkey 7, others 0! What a difference he has made. Hard to say who will finish second.

All focus on the remaining 2 matches.

vs Estonia; should not be a hard job.

vs The Netherlands; toughest and most important match.

It's going to be difficult and with an inconsistent idiot like Volkan Demirel as the goalie I will be relieved if I can watch both matches without getting a heart attack. But it's not impossible.

    SALDIRIN OSMANLILAR!

the strikers of Galatasaray cleared the job with each 1 goal. We dominated and were pretty much the better team. It was odd though to see Volkan finally playing a good match, nevertheless he should be benched for Onur Kivrak, who rightfully deserves to be the regular starter for the turkish nt.
But I don't think Terim will do that, knowing that Onur hasn't played for the turkish nt for a while.

    Next: Holland

Difficult match, but not impossible. I hope Onur starts, but I doubt it.
with Arda, Töre, Inan, Umut. Potuk and Sahan we do have enough attacking players/midfielders to create some goal scoring chances. Korkma, sönmez bu şafak!

The Netherlands beat Turkey with 0-2 AKA 100 corners = 0 goals.

Even when we couldn't qualify to the World Cup, I'm optimistic about this turkish squad. Töre has been great since the minute he came on and created the most dangerous chances. If Terim drops his 2 striker system and plays with and Arda-Burak-Töre attack this team can absolutely make it in the next tournaments.

we didn't deserve anyways, if you can't even beat Hungary and Romania..

Let's focus now to the EC of 2016.
