There was some interesting stuff in this match from what I've read, so I figure it's worth posting a thread about it. Seniors won 3-1, goals from Duff, Keane and Reid topping the U21s only goal from Miller. It seems the senior players all played 45 minutes, with Given, McPhail and Crowe missing, Given is expected to be fit for saturday though. From reports, Steven Reid, a scorer on the day, was very impressive and that will go some way to proving he's fit enough to play on saturday. Barrett was supposed to be very impressive for the U21s, so much so he's been called into the senior team now to replace Crowe. Another big thing of note is Duff, another scorer, played on the left wing. Anybody actually go down and take a look or know anything else that happend on the night!? And going off topic, but the entire U21 and senior pannel were at Tolka Park to see Shels last night. O'Shea was the first one spotted, but the rest were there, and I even met Don Givens outside the ground, didn't manage to see any of the players after the match though, but they were all there.
