Here is my best 23 for the '02 age group. GK: Las, Wilson, Trejo DF: Scally, Gray, Carrera, Ramsey, Hernandez-Foster, Bello, Miller MF: Atencio, Stroud, Penagos, Garcia, Dunbar, Rodriguez, Edwards, Reyna FW: Ocampo-Chavez, Hernandez, Ignacio, Arce Best XI: Las Gray-Carrera-KHF Scally-Atencio-Penagos-Bello Dunbar-AOC-Reyna
Just to add some extra names, Jonathan Tomkinson and Damian Rivera would have been at the first U19 camp. So would have '03 Jonathan Gomez and quite possibly other '03s without a U18 camp. Francisco Raggio is an '02 who traveled with the Olympic qualifying team for training purposes. Unfortunately US Soccer did not release the U19 and other rosters so can only go off of bits of information.
I don't mean to nitpick because you know way more about these players than I but since all the teams are using GB's standard 4-3-3 would add who would be the best prospects at that formation also until the teams start showing that they are more flexible? Don't get me wrong I like seeing who the best players are in whatever the best formation for that group is (like in an alternate universe) but since they are pretty rigid in this and we are trying to predict who fits where is also topical.
'02 Queretaro forward Ruben Hernandez says he was called up to this U19 camp. He was in camp for the 2018 U17 Nike Friendlies. Doing well at Liga MX academy level and was supposed to trial with VVV-Venlo. https://noticiasdequeretaro.com.mx/...alidad-y-ya-fue-convocado-por-estados-unidos/
