Given how erratic Trump has become, and given the high pressure of America hosting the World Cup, this is a great question. I think he will last longer than a head of lettuce, but I honestly would make a Kalshi bet that he won’t be there a year from now. And for that, he gave up a senate seat?!?!?!

Imagine how many minions Trump will fire if the midterms go badly for him, in an attempt to deflect responsibility for the losses.

I don’t get it. Why is Mullin taking the job? It makes no sense.

Even if I knew what a kalshi bet was I wouldn’t take that one.

 

On the TPM podcast, they said that Republicans are laying the groundwork on the DHS funding issue so that if there’s a major terrorist attack (and the odds of one went up with the Iran War) they will blame Democrats for not funding/supporting ICE.

Being as the FBI is responsible for counterterrorism, they should start making that point and how Patel is wasting resources protecting his girlfriend with a SWAT team and partying on the taxpayer dime. And when Bondi comes to Congress to testify they need to ask her point blank whose job it is to detect and foil planned terrorist attacks.
