So many completely ********ed up stories.

 

How could it be both lame and chic???

 

This story is so whatever that it seems made up

 

The truly scary thing is when you consider just how many utter sociopaths must be involved in this, for it not to have been nipped in the bud at any point.

Inglorious Bastards has a solution for that.

 

There will be records. Job applications. Interview records. Employment records. Deployment orders. Arrest records. Justice will come eventually. The anonymity they think they’re operating under will not be permanent

 

I think it is far more likely most of these people will never face any serious consequences.

 

What I meant was, the elements of the story encapsulate so many ********ed up things about America that it seems made up.

Yeah, it was worded clumsily with the "whatever". Something like "it reads like an American Nazi's wet dream" might've done it

 

While the anonymity may not be permanent, but the lack of consequences are. Even if Democrats take over the government in the future, there isn't going to be some mass round-up of ICE agents. At worse, there will be mass layoffs.

I can't see how any of these assholes is ever going to be more than maybe slightly inconvenienced due to their participation in this.

 

I suspect that if Democrats get enough power, if they can get rid of the filibuster and have a couple of votes to spare, they’ll disband ICE and reconstitute it. The functions it does are necessary, but that agency’s culture is beyond redemption.
