And yet it meant the same thing if you were a Jeff Gordon fan.

In the early 1980s, Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford made the handkerchief code part of his stage costume. In the music video for "Heading Out to the Highway", Halford can be seen wearing a red handkerchief in his left pocket.

My scientific analysis of the video rates this claim as TRUE as Rob started the band drag race with his fister red hanky

Bayern beating Auckland 10-0. "Come to America", they said..."It would be fun", they said. All that is left for them is to visit an ICE detention cell for 3 hours because of a "mistake" and their USA experience will be complete.

LOL. Bringing up a semi-pro New Zealand squad losing a soccer game in a thread about immigration is the sign of someone who is… let’s just say “exceptionally triggered” is putting it mildly.

Triggered? Nah, facepalming at the state that this nation has become thanks to the orange turd's stupid policies. But that just shows, again, how out of touch you actually are.

The Padilla arrest (he was handcuffed, so he was arrested) overshadowed something else that Noem said. The link has the entire press conference (figured this would be better that posting just the video).

    https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politi...on-raids-and-response-to-los-angeles-protests

If you want to skip forward to the relevant part, it starts at at 7:04.

She says the military are there to liberate LA (and "this country") from the socialist mayor and governor, and will stay until it is done. That is worse/more frightening than Padilla's arrest.

Honestly, at least from the sources I pay attention to, that part was not buried at all. It was the lead, with Padilla being arrested as part of that.

Yep. That's the line that is pretty unacceptable and should be heavily criticized.

Caught Legal Eagle talking about it, and that was the first I heard about it (I believe). I did a Google of the press conference, and everything was about the Padilla arrest (I Googled "Noem Press Conference LA") Couldn't find anybody who mentioned it in their article, just the PBS link which had the whole press conference.

Out of touch? Trump is still net positive on handling immigration. A few random issues with questioning and detentions at airports hasn’t changed that, especially since most Americans with perspective and who don’t react like unhinged deranged children take a 10,000 foot view and see that the policies are working. Illegal immigration has slowed to a trickle, which was one of the main reasons he won the election. You can keep your head in the sand and scream “la la la” at the top of your lungs but deep down you know it’s the truth. It’s very obvious from your posting you are triggered.

A good and well organized protest.

So good that many far lefties are pissed.

"It's important and valuable that the No Kings protests were patriotic, non-violent and strictly on-message."

"I understand that the No Kings protests were very libbed up, I went to my local one and that was the case, but man the organizers didn't even let people heckle counter protesters. What's the point of sitting in the hot Southern sun and waving flags, let a convo happen!"

I feel like the liberal / leftist distinction as described frequently online in articles posted by ceezmad is an artificial thing. I don't know anyone who acts like the weird online people described in those articles and tweets. I've never seen anyone behave like that in real life. But it seems like it benefits the ruling class to go "yeah, there's this subset of the left which is totally unreasonable". It's a tiny subset, if it exists at all, but there's a lot of coverage because it fractures the opposition.

We get similar in the UK. There's always been a "dangerous" faction to the left of the most left wing leader that rears it's head. If we have a centre/centre-left Labour party, then everyone has to watch out for the left wing of the party flexing it's muscles. If a left wing leader is in place, then suddenly the country has a surge of Trotskyites appearing.

Who needs pesky CECOT that can be closed off to us at the whims of a (slightly more) ethical dictator than our own? We have all this ground in Cuba. Just turn that into CECOT! And send Europeans there too! Evil socialist communists trying to inflame tensions in the US.

Miller taking us one step closer to his nirvana.

In fairness to that, he actually posts critical articles that have substance, as opposed to the DEI poster (who sticks to California and just says "bad.").
