Stephen Miller has a wife? Just looking at his dead eyes, you'd think he's the very definition of the word "Incel."

Today hasn't been a good day for the Trump administrations attempt to detain and deport immigrants that protested against Israel's actions in Gaza.

    1. The 2nd Circuit ruled against the Government's challenging the release of Mohsen Mahdawi on bail. Mahdawi was the one that showed up for a citizenship interview and test (both of which he passed) and was arrested by ICE as he was leaving the office due to his leadership in the pro-Palestinian protests. Mahdawi's representation claims that his arrest and attempted deportation is a violation of his 1st and 4th amendments rights and the government is claiming that the US judicial system lacks jurisdiction because the President is God, so f**k you we can do what we want.

    2. A district court in Vermont has ruled that Rumeysa Ozturk be immediately released on her own recognizance without any travel restrictions as she is not a flight risk. Ozturk was another pro-Palestinian protestor that is in the US on a student visa and was walking on her way to class when an unmarked van pulled up next to her and a group of masked men pulled her into the van. She was immediately taken to the airport and flown down to a detention center in Louisiana. Again, Ozturk's representation's argument is that the revocation of her visa and detention violate her 1st and 4th amendment, while the Government's argument is that the President is God, so f**k you we can do what we want..

Women can be sadists too. And, sometimes, the nearness to power can be attractive to some people.

The Mayor of Newark has been arrested for trespassing at a federal ICE detention facility and refusing to leave.

Nothing wrong with protest. But has to be done outside the facility.

    Greater context.

    https://www.nj.com/essex/2025/05/ne...ice-officers-at-private-detention-center.html

    And also this:

    https://newjersey.news12.com/newark-mayor-put-in-handcuffs-after-verbal-altercation-at-delaney-hall

The mayor's arrest following an argument with agents came after a tense week at the privately owned and operated immigrant detention center in Newark.

I have seen nothing that says he was on the property. Yes, this might be a stunt of some kind, but it also reads like the ICE personnel are also overreacting.

    Congressional members reportedly now involved:

    Per DHS Asst Sec:

In a bizarre political stunt, as a bus of detainees entered the security gate of Delaney Hall Detention Center, a group of protestors, including 2 members of US Congress, stormed the gate and broke into the detention facility. The members, Robert Menendez Jr. and Bonnie Watson Coleman + multiple protestors holed up in a guard shack, the first security check point.

This illegal breaking and entering of a detention facility puts the safety of our law enforcement agents and the detainees at risk.

Members of Congress are not above the law and cannot illegally break into detention facilities. Had these members requested a tour, we would have facilitated a tour of the facility. This is an evolving situation.

Of course, we should await formal statements from those arrested before jumping to any conclusions.

Yet again. Copaganda. From the video I’ve seen, the altercation was in a parking lot outside of the fences. There was a lot of pushing and shoving as ICE officers were grabbing people and attempting to drag them into the gated area. The video also doesn’t show the entire altercation, so who knows what happened prior to the start of the video and after the end.

Just saw the video and was coming to post the same thing.

Once again, DEI has posted copaganda and shown it to be proven incorrect. Even after the warning many pages ago, one has to wonder if there is any critical thinking going on...

Ozturk has been released. Judge ordered her released “immediately” about 4 hours ago. I was wondering if it would actually happen.

Obviously….someone at DOJ is losing their job tomorrow

Fascist ideology prohibits critical thinking. It allows people to leave the cult and the fascists lose power.

He was definitely inside the fencing of the facility and was asked multiple times to leave peacefully. He remained on site INSIDE the security perimeter and was subsequently arrested. I don’t know why that bothers you.

DHS has provided ICE bodycam video from the altercation at the Delaney Hall detention facility yesterday. They say the video clearly shows @RepLaMonica (red clothing) shoving/elbowing her way past a DHS agent to get past the gate and into the property, followed behind by @RepMenendez & that it also shows Congresswoman McIver screaming in the faces of DHS agents.

The members of Congress claim they were assaulted and “roughed up” during the incident, and deny DHS’ characterization that they “stormed” the facility.

More copaganda. Three unarmed middle aged politicians aren't "storming" a secure facility surrounded by a chain link fence defended by armed goons. Maybe they could "storm" the donut table at a city council meeting, but anything beyond that surpasses their "storming" capabilities.

It also fits in with the fascist ideology. ICE is an unstoppable brown-people-kidnapping machine, and at the same time, ICE must be protected from unarmed middle aged politicians who will kill cops with their bare hands if given the opportunity. Simultaneous strength and weakness. Fascist leaders have been doing this since fascism began.

    Provide a link.
Further, they were arrested for trespassing. So far, no trespassing has been shown.

Based on what I have seen, yes, this seems accurate.

Based on what I have seen, this is inaccurate.

btw, why are ICE agents wearing masks? I don't just mean for this incident, but in nearly every incident. Why?

When their faces are shown they are more likely to be doxxed by unhinged liberals. They tried to kill Kavanaugh.

So, they can arrest people without identification or being identifiable. Do you understand how problematic that is?

(And, yes, because you make assumptions, I am against doxxing.)
