It's funny he mentions Geert's quirks but won't say a word about Biden looking like a living corpse greeting the air or Kamala looking high out of her mind most of the time. They do live in an alternate reality where Joe "is a good man" or Kamala is a "strong and intelligent woman" but every right wing representative is either stupid or a nazi. And they wonder why voters turned the USA red a month ago. Of course, it's ELON MUNCHEN'S FAULT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111111111
Do you take it seriously? What measures do you take to "save the planet"? I'm not science averse. Science has prostituted itself over the years and only the most "trendy" researches reach mainstream/relevance nowadays. Actually valid science research doesn't reach the general population anymore. Science requires funding. You wouldn't understand it as a MSM consoomer. Elon Musk's companies breakthroughs are amazing, by the way.
Ah, I see you're a man of science. Can you answer me this, please: Left-wingers now claim there are roughly 72 genders. But my science book from school always taught me there are only 2 chromsomes for each gender (XX and XY). So if there are now 72 genders, can you tell me what those other 70 chromosomes are?? Please list them in alphabetical order. I'll be waiting
Trump was right (again) https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/...veals-covid-origins-report-investigation.html
Your science book from school was incomplete. There are a number of other chromosomal conditions which people can have beyond just XX and XY. Here's an intro: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex_chromosome_anomalies I don't know where you're hearing that there are 72 genders - you should ask whoever told you that. I have not seen that claim on BigSoccer so you shouldn't expect an answer from Quakes05 since he never made that statement.
You sure about that?? Check these reddit pages from a few years ago (well before Trump raised the issue). I think its a lot more common than you say it is https://www.reddit.com/r/Advice/comments/s6ginv/haitian_girl_crashing_at_my_house_talked_about/ https://www.reddit.com/r/haiti/comments/115v3pf/haitian_food_taboos/ https://www.reddit.com/r/WTF/comments/zrr30/i_went_to_haiti_and_was_served_stewed_cat_i_can/
That wiki page mentions chromosome defects, it says nothing about genders I'm not accusing anyone on bigsoccer of that, I merely asked for his opinion on the topic www.medicinenet.com lists all 72 https://www.medicinenet.com/what_are_the_72_other_genders/article.htm Agender: A person who does not identify themselves with or experience any gender. Is the country of Ireland also unreliable?? https://brusselssignal.eu/2024/10/irelands-new-hate-crime-law-gives-legal-status-to-72-genders/
I’m not saying your info is incorrect, just that randos on TikTok and a not-so-credible online medical source are the kinds of places you tend to get your info. What other bullshit have you filled your head with?
You see, for the science to have any validity for them, it has to be THEIR science, funded by THEIR favorite billionaires/companies, and communicated by THEIR media.
That's my territory. Your response indicates you do not understand what biological sex or gender identity is, nor how they develop. "Male" and "female" refer to biological sex, not gender. "Man" and "woman", "boy" and "girl" refer to gender identities, not biological sex. Notice how "Male" and "Man" are not synonyms, given "male" can often be used for a "boy" because "man" and "boy" are not the same, they are different gender identity subcategories. Gender identity is the cultural expectations and roles that people play. Thus, "boy" and "man" play different roles in society, even though they are both commonly male. Furthermore, not all cultures recognize only two genders. For example, the Bugis of Indonesia recognize five genders, while most South Pacific and American Indian cultures recognized three or four genders. The two-sex = two-gender approach of ancient Middle Eastern cultures is not representative of how cultures around the world understood sex and gender. Now let's start with the biology of biological sex. XX chromosomes usually, but not always, leads to a female. However, some people with XX chromosomes end up male. XY chromosomes usually, but not always, leads to a male. However, some people with XY chromosomes end up female. Some people have XO chromosomes (they only have one sex chromosome). Some people have three sex chromosomes. Every mammal, including humans, will be born female unless the body is masculinized. Every person initially has both the Wolffian duct, which leads to masculine genitals, and the Mullerian duct, which leads to feminine genitals. If nothing happens, the person will be born female, which is the default. To be born male, several things have to happen. On the tip of the Y chromosome is the SRY gene, which helps produce the testes which produce testosterone. Testosterone, an androgen hormone, can help masculinize the body. These androgen hormones are needed to help transform the Wolffian duct into a penis. No androgen hormones = no penis. However, unless the Mullerian duct is destroyed by the Mullerian inhibiting hormone, a person will also develop female genitals. Now, if a person has a mutated SRY gene, or if the SRY gene broke off of the Y chromosome during recombination, then the masculinization process will not start and, even though they have XY chromosomes, they will be born female. If during recombination the SRY gene attached to the X chromosome, then, even though a person has two X chromosomes, the masculinization process will happen. In other words, a person can have XX chromosomes and be born male. Of course, given so many steps are needed to transform a person into a male, there are a variety of intermediate results that can occur, explaining why some people are born intersex. Now that you understand how biological sex happens, let's talk about gender identity Gender identity refers to the brain, not the genitals. The brain can also be affected by the androgen hormones that are circulating in the fetus. However, in order for the brain tissue to absorb the masculinizing androgen hormones, androgen receptors are also needed to help "catch" the hormones during critical periods in brain development. If a person has the androgen hormones and lacks the receptors, or vice versa (both are determined by genes on different chromosomes that are independent of the SRY gene, or if the hormone production is not timed as usual, then the brain will not masculinize. Females normally produce low levels of androgen hormones and receptors. However, if they produce more than usual, then their brains can masculinize as well. This helps explain how someone with female genitals can be born with a more masculine gender and how someone with male genitals can be born with a more feminine gender. Now that you understand the basics of how biological sex and gender identity develop in utero, I hope you will stop making such comments that are devoid of all scientific understanding in these threads.
And if you are a man, all it takes is to claim you are a woman, and anyone who dares to question your statement is a criminal. I can be a man and a woman 5 minutes later and then back to man 10 minutes later and anyone who questions that will be committing a crime. Fck yeah science!
You're not saying my info is incorrect, but you also think 72 genders is bullshit?? Sense, as in you're making none. The country of Ireland apparently doesnt think its bullshit, otherwise they wouldnt have passed a law for them. The reason I'm posting this is to show how ridiculous the Left has become with their wokeism. Its amusing though. Please dont ever change EDIT: I mean some on the Left, not all of them
The list that website produces includes nuances and shades that aren't actually different socially recognized genders, but rather "feelings" people have as to where they fall on a spectrum (see "girlflux", for example). It should be noted that the LGBT+ community in Ireland opposed that political legislation because of how sloppy it was. As an anthropologist I would agree that this list does not really represent anything meaningful in terms of socially-recognized gender identities, but instead focuses on individuals (in other words, it is psychology, not anthropology which focuses on cultures). I would argue those are not actual genders, but rather non-gender identities people have claimed. The reason I say this is because gender categories are culturally constructed - in other words, gender categories are ones that are recognized as valid by society; people in different genders play different roles in society and have different socially recognized responsibilities. An old notion was in foraging societies "men hunt and women gather" (notice that it is not "males hunt and females gather" but "men" and "women"). In a previous post I mentioned the Bugis of Indonesia and their 5 recognized genders. Their categories were "men", "women", "calabai", "calalai" and "bissu". "Men" were males who took on masculine roles, "women" were females who took on feminine roles, "calabai" were males who took on feminine roles, "calalai" were females who took on masculine roles, while "bissu" were intersex people (note how they combine a biological sex category with a gender category). Each group had different roles or duties that were expected in society. Bissu were automatically the religious specialists, this was the role they played in society. We are basically at a point in time where society is working out the change from a "biblical worldview" to a "scientific understanding" in how biological sex, gender and sexual orientation work, given the new information that we have compared to the beliefs based partly on mythologies that ancient West Asian cultures had that later influenced Western society.
Where did I say 72 genders is bullshit? Personally, I think it is mincing the onion a little too finely, but I don’t study gender and interview and routinely interact with such a rainbow of gender non-normative people. The bullshit is all the other stuff you may casually pick up when commonly referencing the least reputable sources.
This is what I been saying all along. And its not just cancer, it feeds a lot of other diseases as well. I hope Trump puts a ban on HCFS. He'll piss off a lot of rich powerful people, but thats too bad https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/...t-america-turbocharges-cancer-gary-patti.html Researchers warn common food ingredient unique to America turbocharges cancer Eating a specific type of sugar can turbocharge cancers and make them more deadly, according to new research. Fructose — which is added to thousands of US food and drinks — was found to speed up the growth of certain kinds of skin, breast and cervical tumors. The study showed this type of sugar gets converted by the liver into components that tumors need to build new cells and grow. The more quickly a tumor grows, the more aggressive the cancer may become - able to take over a person's body before they can fight back. Added fructose is sugar that is extracted from sources like corn and added to processed foods, most commonly in the form of high fructose corn syrup. Some early studies have suggested that eating more of these processed sugars might not just accelerate cancer growth, but could also be a cause of some kinds of cancer. Added fructose is different from fruit fructose, a natural sugar found in fruits that is typically accompanied by fiber and other nutrients that slow down its absorption into the blood. In the US, manufacturers are generally allowed to add fructose to foods without limitation, which means its found in high amounts in many different processed foods. Similarly developed nations have issued caps on the additive — the EU only permits a fraction of the sugar in its processed foods. This creates a food system in the US where fructose, and high fructose corn syrup, is found in sweetened items, like soda, fruit juice and yogurt, as well in unexpected items, like pasta sauce, salad dressing. Study author Gary Patti, a professor of chemistry, genetics and medicine at Washington University in St Louis said: 'One take-home message from this current study is that if you are unfortunate enough to have cancer, then you probably want to think about avoiding fructose. Sadly, that is easier said than done.' That's because there is fructose added to many of the foods that Americans reach for every day. The average American consumes about 17 teaspoons of added sugar per day - which is more than double the amount that the American Heart Association recommends. According to WashU, it's the favored sweetener of many manufacturers because it's sweeter than other options, like glucose. Dr Patti said that it's found in 'almost everything', meaning that 'unless you actively seek to avoid it, it’s probably part of your diet.' Because this form of sugar has become so common in American diets, the researchers decided to look into its effects on cancer, as older studies had found that other kinds of sugar could be used to fuel cancer. Their study looked specifically at breast and cervical cancer, as well as melanoma. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the US, affecting approximately 312,000 people each year, according to the NIH. Actress Olivia Munn,43, was diagnosed with a form of the disease last year, and has publicly shared her journey fighting against it. Cervical cancer and melanoma are less common, affecting approximately 11,500 and 100,640 Americans annually. The research, published in the journal Nature, used mice and fish with cancer and tumors grown in a petri dish to figure out how cancer might use fructose. 'We were surprised to see that it had a rather dramatic impact. In some cases, the growth rate of the tumors accelerated by two-fold or even higher, Patti said, adding: 'Eating a lot of fructose was clearly very bad for the progression of these tumors.'
