I don't defend Lula because I am not a Lula fan. I am just providing context to the quote. If you're point is to say they do the same thing to Trump (often take him out of context), then OK. If you're trying to say Lula was a complete fan of Hitler, then all you're doing is the same thing you criticize the MSM from doing. But it has to be mentioned that if Lula wanted to turn Brazil into a communist / Venezuela state, he could have done it in his first 8 years of term. Kind of the same argument for Trump not being a fascist dictator because he wasn't in his first term (although he did try to overturn the election results).
