It makes me wonder how much embarrassment they will be able to bear now that their dreams of censoring their political opposition is dying. When you boil it down, their advocacy for censorship, which focused on memes and satire, is simply because the people and ideas they advocate for are so incredibly personally embarrassing that it became intolerable for them. They advocate such stupidity and such monstrosities that they make themselves obvious and easy targets of ridicule.
