I'm sure they don't have an agenda much like the Southern Poverty Law Center. The protest during covid I'm sure don't count, do they? They actually show no actual cases and claim Jan 6, where the only murder was by the Capitol police.
Keep in mind these statistics are based on casualties, not perpetrators. In any case, are you denying that Marxist theory ascribes political violence as an acceptable means of achieving objectives?
Because Democrats in this country are all a bunch of Marxists and Socialists? Helping people is core function of govt, always has been. And, it’s 100% consistent with biblical teachings (in case you’re a believer)!
Marx argued that violence could be justified in response to violent oppression, and that it would be necessary in the overthrow of entrenched power, where the ruling class would not willingly cede power even to a majority. Much of his work focused on change through economic and social methods. Engels specifically wrote that peaceful revolution was clearly the preference, but that it may not be possible for the same reasons as Marx. Marxism was a product of its time and what he observed based on the 19th century world is not necessarily how it would be seen today. The horrors of the first half of the 20th century profoundly impacted left wing thinking, and the overwhelming majority of left wing thinkers of the last century are clearly anti violence in achieving their aims. To pretend that all of the modern left are Marxists and ascribe unflinchingly to his observations is to be profoundly ignorant of the political landscape across the world since WWII. It ignores movements such as Solidarity or the Singing Revolution, which were marked by peaceful left wing opposition that ultimately lead to the downfall of Authoritarian Communism in their respective countries.
Mate, you're letting Neo-Nazi propaganda on BigSoccer. Maybe your efforts are better off spent elsewhere.
Yikes. Dude, I thought English was your native tongue, but clearly it's not. You need to get a tutor so you can speak intelligently.
Dumpster didn't get his way with the European Union, throws a tantrum and threatens 50% tariffs. Meanwhile, the EU has made deals with China and Canada recently. https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/liv...mnAD-9AlrVQVFhVHBm_aem_NG3cxQOMXFu9iXxFHLJCcg
Meanwhile, stock market tumbled today due to his imposing tariffs on the EU & Apple. https://abcnews.go.com/Business/sto...riffs-apple-european-union/story?id=122108451
The White House has removed all the transcripts of his speeches. In spite of Leavitt's false claims they are the most transparent administration in history, it's clear they want to prevent people from actually reading how cognitively impaired he's become. Even worse, it's impossible to find out who is actually making decisions in the White House. It seems like trump is becoming a figurehead who is less and less incolved in decision making -- except for his random outbursts like putting a tariff on iPhones unless they're made in the USA -- as if that's going to happen overnight.
This has to be triggering. BACK AT 1600 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE! 🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/Kf1uVblvjM— The White House (@WhiteHouse) May 26, 2025
On this Memorial Day, let's remember all the horrible things Trump has said about our veterans -- especially those that were killed or wounded -- and how his administration has trashed the Department of Veterans Affairs. Trump loathes the military, because as tough as he likes to think he is, he got 5 deferments from the draft because he was a total pussy and weak ass punk. He still is.
It's insulting to the men and women who served to have a draft dodging commander in chief, your boy is a fraud. Sorry man.
Win more elections man, I don’t know what to tell you. Your problem is now you’ll be miserable thinking about him every day for four more years.
Mostly I try not to dwell on it...but his tweets are obscene and disgraceful, so yeah, occasionally, on days like today, it's a little more rattling when we should be honoring our vets...but instead we have to see captain bone spurs.
If this rattles certain people, so be it. pic.twitter.com/b19JtrkCiS— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) May 26, 2025
I take it in small doses, we all knew it would be a shit show everyday with trump. I expect Democrats will claw back a little power next year, and luckily trump is a singular figure who will be gone soon, but yeah, not nearly soon enough.
some of us are able to think beyond the finite boundaries of our own lives, like say if we have kids, or the ability to think about the future, or if say we worry about the health and well being of the planet, or maybe we care about the marginalized, poor, vulnerable, less fortunate, etc... ...I don't worry so much about my own life.
Oh I think about those things too, I just differ from you on how to achieve those things. Either way, I don’t get too stressed about politics in general.
I agree with this but some see that's less genuine and more virtue singling and using those causes for political gain. You have kids and get upset when some folks want to raise their kids with values they believe in. You want to think about the future? Who doesn't want that? You worry about the health of the planet and don't call out those flying private jets for politics but burn down and attack people who are advancing electric car technology. You care about the poor, marginalized and less vulnerable by making them more dependent on the government. Which fails miserably with schools that are more about teachers unions and less about children leaning. Meanwhile you separate everyone into groups instead of finding common ground.
