And inflation was 2.9% in Dec 2024. Which is as relevant as your point.

Well, you're in here cheerleading your heart out for Trump, which is true, while it's just plain stupid to suggest I'm a Hamas supporter.

I do have sympathy for Palestinians though, especially those in Gaza, of course. But we have a whole different thread for that.

That wasn't the last day of office. Guess Trump got it down even lower before Biden screwed it up.

Obama left us a country with no COVID. Trump screwed it up by letting it get in and spread.

If you’re going to stupidly call me QAnon, I will continue to call you a Hamas supporter. So you have agency over this.

Trump has some definite personal flaws, but I do like that he followed through on his promise to lock down the border. Which was one of the main issues facing our country since we came out of Covid, and is one of the main reasons he was elected. Add to that his court appointments, which will be critical to ward off insane liberal activists.

Your reading comprehension skills have failed you. I said I think you're in the category of maga-types who know better, and I was wondering out loud which is worse, those who kind of know this guys a clown but play along anyway, or the full blown WWGOWGA types.

Biden (finally) took steps to secure the border, but it was too little, too late and the damage was done. Trump hit that point over and over and over again, scaring the hell out of people. So there's something we agree on, Biden (and Harris) failed to act sooner, and it was a costly mistake.

Biden only did so last minute in order to try to win an election on a crucial issue. But the inherent position among the left is that unvetted migrants and asylum seekers should continue to be processed and released into the US. And Americans were f*cking fed up.

And this dynamic is playing out all around the world, which is why you're even seeing places like the UK and Germany crack down.

I'm not a Trump lover all the time 100% but I absolutely think he was better than the alternative, despite his personal flaws. And if he gets some court appointments, that will be a bonus.

Actually Obama shut down the gain of function research and Fauci moved it off shore. I agree Obama saw the wisdom of knowing that nothing has ever come out of such research and it was basically to make a biological weapon. China shutdown cities but not the country and let their folks spread the disease throughout the world. I find it hard why your party turned Fauci into a saint.

For one, judicial appointments are about more than the Supreme Court, but even on the Supreme Court, one of the conservative justices could retire or pass away during this term or a future Dem administration.

For those criticizing Trump for meeting with the new Syrian president…

“It's not conditional, it's very clear, the minorities must be part of the government in Damascus," Gorka says POTUS told Syria's al-Sharaa. "Behind closed doors we have made those stipulations very clearly.”

enlighten us, why do you support the US rebuilding of Syria and Trump cozying up to this Al Qaeda guy with the blood of US service members on his hands?

The Syrian people have suffered and sanctions aren’t helping. As far as al Sharaa, definitely don’t like his past but he’s the one in charge right now, so we have to deal with him.

What is the “MAGA framework?” Just because you want to make America great again doesn’t mean you don’t want stability around the world. Trump has been adamant he wants the wars to end and have a more stable Middle East, because a more stable world is better for America.

Just imagine if Joe Biden was over there cozying up to the Al Qaeda man and talking about the US getting involved in rebuilding Syria...we'd see a mega maga meltdown. But with Trump you guys are all good with whatever nonsense he can dream up. Funny how that works.

Yes, because Biden was entirely incapable both mentally and physically to deal with foreign relations, especially when it comes to the Middle East, as we saw from the Afghanistan fiasco.
