See, this is what I mean, you're a complete oddball. Are you also a big fan of Tricky Dick? I would imagine you must be and maybe it's the hateful rhetoric towards immigrants that gets you all hot and excited about Trump.

I'm just trying to understand why a Dutchman would be such a massive trumpy fanboy.

@Quakes05 you sound so salty. How are you feeling today?

You seem to dislike non-American people a bit. And your knowledge of Brazilian politics sounds like you've been spoonfed by MSM from the bottom to the top.

I hope you recover from the massive political loss you suffered last week and have a great day today, my friend.

I'm doing great, beautiful here after a little rain yesterday. And my 49ers won last weekend in Tampa...so all in all, not bad.

Like I said, I don't know much about your country. I had some friends who went there for the World Cup, I was a little envious. Sorry about how that turned out.

On the politics in Brazil, it doesn't get covered here. I don't think anybody cares. I just remember hearing something about that last dude and how terrible he was for the country, really made the consequences of the pandemic worse and everyone suffered greatly, like here.

That's why I'm asking. Was he a great leader or was he the corrupt dictator he was portrayed to be?

Looks more brilliant orange to me, like trump! :ROFLMAO:

You should probably change your name to Brilliant Yellow because you seem desperately fearful of answering a simple question about the country you call home.

Apparently around that time we'll learn if everything Trump campaigned on will actually happen or not.

That's not answering questions about your own country. C'mon man.

And so you're Holland's #1 Trump fanboy because you're hoping to make a buck?

    Brilliant.

Bro, you live in fvcking Holland...and won't even have a conversation with me about your own Prime Minister "Tricky Dick" yet here you are, jumping up and down like a chimp, because of our election results, because you hope to make a buck.

Are you really this dumb and pathetic? Be honest.

I've always thought these must be terribly uncomfortable, can you elaborate?

Doesn't sound like it, but glad to hear.

I didn't mind it ten years ago, and I certainly don't mind it now, haha. I stopped supporting the NT by 2006. By 2010, Brazil had lost its starpower and my interest.

Not a dictator, otherwise he would still be in power. Isn't that how a dictatorship works?

Media portrayed him in a bad light because he's right wing and media is ultra-left. He stopped giving money to Brazil's biggest network, which only made their relationship worse.

Corrupt? Likely, but nothing compared to Lula and his gang. He was not good (no one is), but the country was doing much better under him than under Lula, who is a huge fan and friend of real dictators like Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, Maduro, Evo Moralez, etc.

Well, that's at least a reasonable answer. I hope that your country is saving the Amazon rainforest and doing something about farming along its banks so that the oceans aren't overrun with sargassum, that stuff is nasty.

And I hope that you get a leader who's not corrupt and cozying up with dictators, like Trump.

I remember the Brazilian team when they stayed near here during the 1994 World Cup. They closed down the main street in Los Gatos and the people did the Samba all night...it was fun.

So Trump said on JR podcast he will release the JFK files, but now the rumor is he might also release the Epstein files

Are you saying that Trump and his serial sex offender best friend Epstein might've engaged in lewd and illegal sex acts together!? I don't think that will surprise anyone in this country.

That's because I am very reasonable person, lol.
The Amazon was doing better under Bolsonaro than under Lula, although now the media no longer blames the president, it's climate change's fault now. MSM is dishonest and corrupt.

1994 holds a special place in my heart. I was only 7. I remember we recorded the game against Italy on VHS (my father barely had any money, but he managed to buy us a VCR just before the final). I miss the 90s, man.

1994 was fun, I attended my one and only ever WC game, at Stanford. And who could ever forget the final in Pasadena, I think the whole world was shocked when Roberto Baggio sent his PK over the crossbar.

I'm bummed to hear the Amazon is doing worse now, wasn't that one of the main reasons Lula won, to fight against the deforestation going on there.

Are you planning to attend any games in 2026? I certainly am.

He won because the system wanted him back. They got him out of jail because he was the only one who could compete against Bolsonaro and they could restablish the status quo. Brazil is in shambles in every front, including the environment. Thankfully, Leonardo di Caprio brought his private jet over here and exposed how bad Bolsonaro was, lol.

We'll see, I'm going to try. There will be games at Levi's Stadium (home of the 49ers) which is just a 10–15 minute drive from my house in San Jose...so I've got to see at least one.

Funny story, I was sick with a fever when that game rolled around in 1994. Cameroon vs Russia (one of the Russian players scored 5 times, which is a record that will probably never be broken), the bleacher seats in the stadium were made of heat radiating aluminum, I was dying. But I couldn't miss my one chance to see a WC game.
