I hate to keep coming in here with information that contradicts what you post, but that guy that Trump reached out to is not in charge of Palestine. The effective government of Palestine is Hamas. Mahmoud Abbas is the head of the Palestinian Authority, which hasn't had any actual power in Palestine for over a decade. It would be like reaching out to whoever claims the title of King of Brazil and saying they're working with Brazil.

I think it's naive to believe that Hamas, hiding amongst the people would allow the opposition to work without being overseen as well. They know, and you know it's true.
I saw a video where an Al Jazeera journalist/militant interviews a Palestinian. After talking about Israel for a bit, the man starts complaining about how Hamas uses Palestinians as a shield, and the reporter/militant quickly removes the mic from him. Palestine must be freed from Hamas.
Hamas and the P.A. do hate each other. But, if Israel is able to stop Hamas from running Gaza, someone will have to replace them, the PA could perhaps get involved in that.

Okay, didn't think that was what you were getting at. But there is another issue present with this (beyond education) - the ability to access those methods. For poorer women who have difficulty access health care it can be a problem for them to access. If Trump/Republicans eliminate the ACA (Obamacare), that will make access even more difficult. But, this also puts the burdened on the women. Why shouldn't men have just as much a responsibility. As an example, I know a woman who has Gilbert's syndrome, so using birth control can be detrimental to her health (longer term). Why shouldn't her partner get a vasectomy, or use the gel (or pill when it comes to market)?

You know, I thought this was a place of peace, optimism and tranquility. A place where people would be welcome to share their thoughts.
