After Alexia Putellas, Mapi Leon, Nicole Anyoni, Kadi Diani, Rosa Kafaji (Arsenal) ----> London City Lionesses LCL is building a squad with the ambition of competing with the WSL's best, challenging for a podium finish, and ultimately securing a Champions League spot. With all these new signings, the squad is bloated, so departures are to be expected—starting, in all likelihood, with Grace Geyoro, who is deeply unhappy about Diani's arrival; the two have detested each other ever since the Hamraoui affair at PSG.
Rumour Sofie Svava (OLL) ------> Como It’s a rather strange choice, given that Como isn't playing in the Champions League. But I can understand it, since she’s looking to be a starter. She might have more personal reasons, too. In any case, if she leaves, I’ll really miss her; last season, I often thought she was better than Bacha when it came to overlapping runs and crossing. She deserved to play more.
Lou Bogaert (Paris FC) -------> Wolfsburg (3 years) Good signing ! Herzlich willkommen im Rudel, Lou! 🐺Wir freuen uns, dass du da bist! 💚🤍#VfLWolfsburg #VfLWolfsburgFrauen #Wölfinnen pic.twitter.com/Hc2xZsQ8zO— VfL Wolfsburg Frauen (@VfL_Frauen) July 17, 2026
Svava transfers actually to the other of two clubs from the city Como in Lombardia - Como 1907 She is rumoured to become one of the best paid players in Serie A.
As incredible as it can sound, Como has now two clubs in Serie A Femminile: FC Como Women, who were already in the top division since 2022, and Como 1907, who were promoted at the end of the last season. Yes, Como will have a derby, as Milan or Paris.
2 clubs in the little town of Como ! A few years ago, we spent 10 days in the Lake Como area—specifically in Menaggio. It is such a wonderful part of Italy, even though our family’s holiday base for ten years was actually southern Tuscany, near the small village of Suvereto. The small town of Follonica (where we were practically the only tourists ) has one of the best beaches in Europe for people with disabilities (our son) (access, accessible restrooms, specialized water-entry chairs) ; I have wonderful memories of that time!
When I saw her play, I thought she was better. I think Bacha is a better technical player (better with the ball at her feet), but overall, I think Svava is better.

Akane Okuma (INAC Kobe Leonessa) ------------------ > Aston Villa Alice Sombath (OL Lyonnes ) ------------------------------ > Tottenham
The club is letting Alice Sombath—a good defender with huge potential—go, while keeping a dud like Terciane. Bad move
I'll take it. Geez, Tottenham are putting together one hell of a team. The only piece missing is a proven world class player (midfielder or attacker), and that is unlikely to happen unless Tottenham are in the CL or willing to pay some massive fee. The latter I do not expect.
Maite Oroz currently recovering from an ACL is a good midfielder, but not sure the coaching staff will give her a chance. Really do not understand why OL Lyonnes have kept playing Renard and Engen ahead of Sombath and are ok to sell her as well...
Alimata Belem (SD Eibar) ------------------------------ > Washington Spirit (saying on loan with SD Eibar)
Sad to announce this one. Renee van Asten (Ajax) ---------------------------------> FC Barcelona She's not even 20 yet and only broke through into the Ajax first team last season but also started for the Dutch NT. Ajax are beginning to look more and more like a feeder club for the big names in Europe EDIT: there was a article on the Ajax website that two years ago she faced a decision between going to Harvard Univ over here or signing a full contract for Ajax.
Soccerdonna is also reporting it's rumored that Barcelona is buying Kerolin from Man City for 1.5 million Euros. https://bsky.app/profile/soccerdonna.de/post/3mr7tkydokk2d
