Häcken is bleeding... Filippa Curmark (BK Häcken FF) -----------> ACF Fiorentina https://bkhacken.se/nyhet/filippa-curmark-saljs-till-topplag-i-serie-a
What kind of player is she? Is she good? As the official gatekeeper of Italian women's football's thread on these boards, I am interested in what Fiorentina is getting from this trasfer: they do quite often sign Nordic players, but they actually not always manage to get the best from them.
Has played for Häcken/Kopparberg since 2014. Was captain last year until replaced by Jennifer Falk (don't know why). Defensive mid-fielder. A real scrappy player - not flashy at all. Seldom loses a duel. Not afraid to take a yellow card (or a red for that matter)...
Fiorentina's on the roll.. Ballisager had good season in Kansas Rosengard is also bleeding players, Tanikawa's back with Bayern and now Holdt went to FAWSL. She was injuried in later part of the Damallsvenskan season but before that she was flying high (13 goals) Stine Ballisager Pedersen (Kansas City Current) ----------- > ACF Fiorentina Olivia Holdt (FC Rosengard) ----------- > Tottenham Hotspur Martina Fernandez (FC Barcelona) ---------- > Everton (loan) ⚜ 𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗘! ⚜Stine Ballisager Pedersen è viola!🗞️ https://t.co/2SGExRbs5x#ForzaViola 💜 pic.twitter.com/mGCTO57mAK— ACF Fiorentina Femminile (@ACF_Womens) January 3, 2025
They're probably trying their best, in this winter market, to desperately stick to a Champions' League's placement. At the moment it looks like Juventus basically ran away with the title already, so Fiorentina have to battle with Inter and Roma for two other places: not an easy task (although, if I were Roma, I'd get a good look to the maket options too).
Expect Häcken to lose at least 2 more players in this window. Tottenham is apparently after GK Jennifer Falk (who has long wanted an overseas adventure) and according to Tom Garry at The Guardian, Liverpool, Leicester City and Crystal Palace are all chasing Häckens Canadian forward Clarissa Larisey.
I almost wanted to ask, but then, since it came from @Lohmann, I assumed it was "that" Sam Kerr indeed.

Theo Lloyd-Hughes, Megan Humphrey, Megan Humphrey | 21 Hours Ago The San Diego Wave has no update on whether star defender Naomi Girma could be on the move during the January transfer window, a source close to the club has told Sports Illustrated. This offseason, the 24-year-old has been the subject of interest from top European clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea, and Olympique Lyonnais. The European transfer window opened on January 1st and will shut on January 30th, and it's expected the Wave will be bracing for offers. So, no news, just click-bait.

Ruby Grant (BK Hacken) ------------- > Bayer Leverkusen Santa Sanija Vuškāne (SFK Riga) ----------- > GKS Katowice
Häcken has sold two international players this week (Katariina Kosola to newly promoted damllsvenska Malmö FF) and Ruby Grant but still has one too many internationals. Expect Clarissa Larisey to be next.
