A few of the bars (10 I think) in the city centre have it on tap but no-where else in the UK will you find Broon on tap.
Broon on tap seemed to be made solely for the US market. I am surprised that it is available even in Newcastle.
I've never tried it out of a tap to be honest, where I come from its bottle or nowt ps, I dont really like the stuff......OH NO!, I shouldnt be saying that as a Geordie!, dont repeat it.......If anyone round here finds out......I might get lynched!
Broon on Tap Saw two other places with Broon on Tap - one in Scumland ( Manchester) and one in London. Didnt try the lunatic broth in either place. Do they still sell Exhibition back home in the Toon?
My dads a Geordie and I believe your not allowed to go for a piss unless you have drunk eight pints! Going before this number will result in a beating and possibly being sent to hell (London).
Ah geordies it was only about -5C last home game and still some came only wearing the shirt, no jumpers or coats. Yes they still do serve Ex and Scotch up here. I'm not one to drop names but i do work at The Diamond (europes premier pub or so it says on the match boxes) and it is the regular pub of Mr's Sherear, Speed, Harper, Woodgate and Given.
Have any of you ever seen this Broonale can? Looks pretty sweet. Got the image off the G-men website, "the North East of England's one and only original Ska band".
Yep, and I've got one of them sitting in my little NUFC shrine. Last time I saw them in UK stores was in ohhhh November 1999 or so.
