http://www.starsandstripesfc.com/20...oward-everton-starting-final-two-home-matches "In our last two home games of the season we will be able to honor and acknowledge the outstanding contribution and unforgettable role that Tim Howard has made to our football club in the last 10 seasons," said Everton manager Roberto Martinez. "Tim will be joining Colorado Rapids at the end of the season but his legacy will live on for many years in the work that he's done not just on the pitch but in helping young players to understand just what it means and what it takes to be an Everton player. We wish him well and he'll be a true blue ambassador wherever he is."
Hopefully he has a great performance. A cleansheet or 2. And the fans honor him as the LEGEND he is. 10 years
Martinez is probably gone as well. Everyone thinks the club has underachieved despite having several outstanding talents and would really struggle if/when Lukaku, Barkley, Stones and Coleman depart. Some rumors have Moyes coming back too.
I would concur. They've played some really great games but also had very underwhelming games. deserve to be in the top 8
Howard did not get off the bench against Leicester. http://www.espnfc.us/gamecast/statistics/id/422297/statistics.html

I would have selected De Gea. My second pick would have been De Gea. My third is Keylor Navas (who must be jumping for joy that Man United screwed up De Gea's transfer). PS. Pellegrini said today that he wouldn't mind going to Everton, if there's a job opening.
why DeGea if you don't mind me inquiring? Great season he's had but I feel Schmeichel/Cech stood out even more.
As pointed out in another thread, De Gea makes both the great saves and the ordinary/routine saves. Cech and Schmeichel don't have nearly as many highlight moments. Off a cursory observation, Man United needs 2-3 great saves per match against a decent opposition and he provides them.
Everton looks so awful vs. Sunderland, one has to wonder if Tim might have had a better ending to his EPL career under a higher grade coach.
oh well, won't really affect Timmay next season, but to those who want to continue keeping an eye on Everton, Frank de Boer has just left Ajax and seems to be eying the Everton job: http://www.espnfc.com/ajax-amsterdam/story/2869969/frank-de-boer-leaves-ajax-by-mutual-consent "However, his agent recently told NOS that the former Netherlands international "would love to join a club like Everton or Valencia" and De Boer said he was keeping an open mind on his future."
