Well id take another little comment hinting at it like last time. You never know

    1) David Howard might drop another hint

    2) if Fabio is saying it, it just might come true - often does.

You know - last game I was out of town and this game I had to decide between this game or the All Star Game and Id rather give my money to the MLS, so amazingly, I have missed both of these games.

I hope they have another game before the year is out - dying to see how it is. Heard the crowds have been good though.

21.000 spectators, but not a good impression with the baseball diamond and lines on the ground !!! I hope that if the Cosmos will play the 2013 MLS season at Citi Field, the Mets organization will be able to eliminated this problem ..............

I've been to both games ( would much rather go to Citifield than give a dime to Red Bull). The game last night didn't quite have the electicity of the first match but it still was pretty good . Better than 99% of any Metro/Energy Drink FC games I've been to.

To be honest, that is the best you will ever see Citifield set up for soccer. Due to the nature of the baseball schedule you'll have to do quick turnarounds and the Mets won't do anything special that could damage their baseball field.

SO you want the Mets to take the Baseball Diamond out of the Baseball field? - I am sure they will do what they can, but it will not be eliminated completely.

Just be ********ing happy if the Mets let the Cosmos play there, because without it, 2013 aint happening.

If the Cosmos have to play with some lines of a baseball diamond for a year or two, so be it. Just get the ********ing team already.

I just don't see any way to eliminate the diamond without putting in a tray system field over the top of the grass at CitiField. But why in hell would you do such a thing and risk damaging the field ?

The way they had it last night will have to do - Conte was saying that the IF grass was a bit of a issue but the rest of the grass was cut perfectly - it will work fine for a season or two if needed.

I was watching when the ball crossed from the outfield into the diamond area and vice versa. It didn't appear jump affect the ball's movement. I just wonder if the sod put down would be loose underfoot.

Absolutely agreed, Nick. But at least to eliminate that line near the lateral line ............

    Just get it done Napoli.

Like I have always said - IF/WHEN its announced, we are going to have a series of little fund raisers to get you airfare over here.

Many of the Borough Boys are choosing to support MLS and go tonight instead. We spoke about a big group for this game but the All Star Game won out.

Which I am happy about being we are a hopeful MLS supporters Club.

The game last night was good but more impressive was how nicely CitiField transitioned into FUTBOL! For a baseball stadium its very intimate in terms of how close you are to the game. First base side sucks but everywhere else is ok.

The location above the Models sign is perfect with the food/drinks right behind it.

The thing I'm tying to figure out is, the MLS All-Star games says "NYC", yet it's in new jersey

Edit: the announcer even just said "in the garden state"
