Not have games up there scheduled on July 4th maybe? lol We brought more people to Atlanta this year than we did to St. Pete on July 4th last year. And Atlanta is 7 hours further away from here than St. Pete. Does that make any sense at all? That tells you how utterly stupid the scheduling has been from the league concerning it's two closest, and biggest, rivals.

The Fall Championship game between the 2 teams is at Al Lang Field on Saturday, October 5th, 2013. Maybe we should start promoting that game now to try to get at least a busload to go to St Pete? If anyone has any pull in the Strikers FO maybe they (that "they" could be plural) could see if the Strikers could help in some way to promote this? Just an idea, of course.....
Actually already working closely with the team on trying to organize a bus for July 4. Maybe not a full 50-person coach but one of those 30 person mini-buses.

Should run around $40 which would include game ticket, transport and hopefully some kind of tailgate.
Sounds good to me. Now I just have to get the family accepting my trip there and me to accept the fact that the Strikers do not do well on the road and really stink in road games vs the Howdies. That last fact may make me stay home...
