    Sassy!

I guess Ian is quite happy with the team's performance! I haven't seen anything that sassy since Jason Priestley and Christian Slater were on SNL.

Ian's a funny guy....I know that he has something to say about Sat's game, he just chose not to divulge it.

Todd is a great name, but I don't know if it's that common.

Think of how confusing it must be when the Crew plays San Jose. Then you have; West , McBride, Dunseth, and Mais for the Crew, and Ching and Mullan for San Jose....Just thinking about it makes my head hurt....

Brian must be the most popular name in MLS..I wonder if MLS could field an All Brian team ? and more importantly, if I ever have a son, and decide to name him Brian, does that raise the probability of him playing professional soccer ?

    EDIT:
    Because I'm bored....
You couldn't field an all Brian team, although Brain is the most popular name in MLS (with 9), followed by Chris (8), and Mike (7). So you could make a roster of all players named, Brian, Mike, and Chris complete with 2 keepers....

I just skimmed the US Soccer site and it does look like there are less Brians the younger the age. But, the current full teams will have to watch out for anyone named Eddie and Chris. (Is this the U.S. counterpart to the name Lee for Korea?)

With the current trend of names such as Landon, Taylor, Kyle and DaMarcus, the US MNT is officially crossing over into a cast for a WB show.

Next, after fielding a team of players with the same first name, then we can work on fielding a team with the same first and last names.

Anyone for Team John Smith or John Brown SC?

After doing a tally of the youth teams(on ussoccer.com), each of the following names appear twice:
    Chris, Brian, David, and Eddie.

If you want your child to play professional soccer, Chris and Brian seem to be the names to go with....

On a more personal note, I need a new job....now.

Last names count, too. I'm waiting for the play-by-play announcer to say "Ivanoff passes to Namoff who passes to Stoitchkov who passes to Kovalenko - Goal!" An All Slavic Moment.

So what you're saying is, If I meet a guy with a Slavic last name, allow him to impregnate me, and then name our spawn Brian, my child will be the next Pele ? :D
